Yea, I bet it was surreal for them. Kind of like Stevie Nicks and Jon Bon Jovi. When Jon met Stevie for the first time, she said he was just like every other fan, even though he was just as famous as her by that point, to him he wasn't. Even with all his fame, he still was in awe of getting to meet her, and it was one of the things that made them quickly become such great friends that they are today, and he wrote a song for her.
I'm surprised by how many are disliking the sound of this song. This is as 80's as it can get and 80's rock is the main sound of this band and has been rooted in it since its conception. And it's written by none other than Paul Stanley. This is as Lordi as some of their most classic stuff. Plus, if you need a horror-element to connect it to the band, this is basically about a stalker (the video gives it away, also the evil laugh in the middle of the track).
@@booshting3520 Lyrically, yeah. Paul Stanley probably intended for the song to be a sweet love song. But the difference that Lordi makes is very subtle yet changes the whole perspective of the song. The difference is in the spoken parts (check out this groove and what I'm trying to say) and (most noticeably) the laugh in the middle of the song, which gives a whole new meaning to the lyrics (I wish that I could forget you,I'm addicted to you). The video released with the song also gives the subtle change away.
Often spoken of only rock legends of Finland, Andy Mccoy, and Monroe. They were first Finnish band to do a world tour. They influenced Guns N Roses early days when Hanoi used to be big in the 80s. GnR gave credit to them in CDs. Close friends with Mötley Crüe
Lordi again teleporting us to the 80s when music was cool as ice and yet made our blood boil. the sax solo was a nice touch, will we be seeing more of the boneman in the future? who knows.
I kinda think Lordi could return to Eurovision tbh. Sunstroke Project and Alexander Rybak were allowed to represent their respective countries multiple times. I think it's Lordi's turn to have another turn.
If this would have been released in the Mid 80's this song would have been in present in any clip or meme compilation resembling 80s Music like Vice City, because its good
I love that Lordi has a lot of lyric videos for my "Cool metal lyric videos" playlist. Also, song was incredible and the art impressive. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yet another masterpiece from Lordi. Awesome Stanley & Beauvoir penned tune from the heydeys perfectly executed by the band and Mr Monroe. Gotta love that extra Vincent Price touch which is the icing on the cake. Mahtavaa jätkät!
I don t think that in get heavy and monsterican dream were songs with such borring music, but I dug a hole is great so I am hopefull for the new album.
Paul Stanley was a writer of this song...Yeah I have usually compaired them more to Kiss Than To Gwar cause they are more rock n roll and Gwar were more metal/punk
Since the band only came together because they were all huge KISS fans, i think thats exactly what they were going after. So happy they could now publisha song which was actually written by paul. Just amazing :)
I used to well...not dislike this song but I thought it was weird coming from a band like Lordi...Now I'm addicted to it! It's different but as always Lordi not only makes music feel classic but fun again (unlike most crappy music these days lol).

No seriously, this song is Honey in the ears... I feel like a bee buzzing it with a sax solo. And really waiting for the 31th January. It will be a good day! But now the question is... Is Paul Stanley knows that you use those lyrics? Cause singing a Paul Stanley's song certainly is an achievement. But having him validate that would be the serious EPIC Achievement of Perfection.
This song is underrated. Imagine releasing this in the 80s, it has everything to be a huge hit
Let’s be honest, this is a great song
Of course it is. It's a Paul Stanley song.
No onhan tää🥰
All musical talents combined, it couldn't be anything short of amazing. I love this song.
YOU MEAN ''LETS BEE HONEYEST''....:)
Pretty cool that a band that started from the Kiss fan club in Finland now has a song written by paul stanley. way to go guys!

Mr Lordi's voice is fantastic!!
Goddamn, this song is totally awesome and the sax's solo is the cherry on the cake
Perfect comment, by the way.

Jean Beauvoir has written it with Paul S :)
Hakon Magnusson this is soo much better than sexorcism. That album was ass.
Sounds more like a simple relationship song rather than anything like a stalker

This is so Paul Stanley! This is amazing but love to hear a version by Paul.
Quite obviously a different sound for Lordi. But at the same time it fits Mr L.'s voice perfectly.
He used to be the chairman of Kiss Army Finland, so I can imagine he was probably pretty hyped to get to sing this one.
The sax player is Michael Monroe from Hanoi Rocks
Often spoken of only rock legends of Finland, Andy Mccoy, and Monroe. They were first Finnish band to do a world tour. They influenced Guns N Roses early days when Hanoi used to be big in the 80s. GnR gave credit to them in CDs. Close friends with Mötley Crüe
One Man Gang!!!
And the horror host on the TV is clearly Vincent Price.
"The sax player is Michael Monroe from Hanoi Rocks"
No, I believe it´s Bill Clinton. He is quite good in blowing.
Is he for real?
Lordi again teleporting us to the 80s when music was cool as ice and yet made our blood boil.

This song is sooooo good.
Like the narrator, I"m addicted to this song!
Michael's sax solo is great I wish it would be longer.
Sounds like a main theme of a classic 80's horror movie AWESOME!
Reminds me of Alice Coopers Man Behind the Mask
I like the addition of the skull with Paul Stanley's makeup, a nice touch.
This song is so smooth going from the verse to the chorus and then the sax solo, and then they add the wicked laugh at the end. JUST BRILLIANT
Loving this track, definitely a different feel, but still that Lordi feel. Bring on the new album

Hell yeah, this could fit as part of an 80s action movie soundtrack starring Sly or Arnold 👌👏
It's so 80s but also takes me back to get heavy and monsterican dream era. Amazing!

Okay but the art is super dope.😍
Molly Sweetheart yeah, it's got amazing attention to detail
The artist is a really good friend of mine! Look for her at either Sanna V or Veritasket !
The only thing missing is the typical cannon blast snare sound, and this would be right out of the 80's! I like it, best of the new tunes I reckon.
This is my favorite song on this album, and in my top five Lordi songs, period.
Lordi needs to add sax as they regular instrument from now on
One of the most Romantic songs from Lordi.
