    Good videos, just update 1) Walking on an expressway is NOT allowed in India too. 2) Shoes are not allowed in Indian households from Rajasthan to Tamilnadu. We remove them outside the house.

    I think in south India and in seven sisters, including Bengal, removing shoe outside house/ in a designated place is a common practice. Even for guests, it is expected to follow the same tradition.
    Thanks to this lovely couple for sharing this useful information about Norway's culture.

      I agree on that part.
      Leaving shoes outside is way too common practice over here. It was different to hear you mention that because it is pretty common practice.
      But yes. India is different in different parts and so it is understandable.

    Nothing wrong with LOOKING at an attractive man/beautiful woman, if you get eye contact, it may be mutual interest, BUT that is not the same as prolonged STARING. There is a fine line sometimes between showing interest/looking at someone and downright STARING. Greetings from Oslo!

    Very informative. I think very valid too. Some points like honking, taking out shoes( which was followed earlier in India and is followed in many places still) , maintaining a distance , buying tickets before boarding a bus or train and last but not the least hitting your child.

    One more important point I can add is to keep your house clean and make sure not to cause any sought of damage inside your house. Paid cleaning and repair support in Norway is very very Expensive !!!

      Many online courses are available. UA-cam channels are also available for the Norwegian language :)

    • @pragyanbezbo
      @pragyanbezbo 4 роки тому +1

      For learning a new language, start listening to conversations and watch series or movies in that language without subtitles. Dont try to focus on grammar or reading just yet. Just get experienced with the listening part. Learn like a baby.
      Learn occasional words and simple translations. Give yourself enough time to learn.
      Norwegian is a Level 1 language from English and so it is way too easy if you start understanding the things. The pronunciations can be a little bit different but has the same base as English.
      There are great UA-cam channels focussed on that. I follow Learn Norwegian Naturally channel. Similar channels are there in Spotify. And you can use Duolingo now and then to get some practice.
      In short, get experienced with listening the language first. Give a month or two just on that. You will slowly begin to understand things even before learning anything.
      Children story books also help a lot. In learning the language. Treat yourself like a kid. You will learn better.
      If you have any questions, do ask them here.

    I don't think staring is bad. Staring just mean you are exploring or screening about something you are unfamiliar or something you find interesting. Some may become nervous only if they think you might rob or harm or unworthy. In such case, one has to assure that what is it that you are trying to screen.
