Back with an all-new song! I really hope you enjoy this one, as it's probably one of my favorite compositions. Pure 8-bit retro goodness! Enjoy everyone! :)
This marks a milestone in my music production, something which I had always wanted to achieve since the beginning. My very first song was a short 8-bit tune, that started it all. Once the project was completed I felt powerful, excited, and I clearly remember saying this one phrase:
"The day will come when I will be able to create a true, complete 8-bit masterpiece. That day my musical journey will be complete"
It really feels great to have finally reached this point, having achieved the skills I once only dreamed of. There's nothing better than setting a goal and then powerfully smash it. Of course this doesn't mark the end of my journey, just a little milestone on the road. But I learned a valuable lesson: always keep learning, always keep improving. The only way to reach the stars is to go and get them. If you put your mind to it there's nothing you can't accomplish.
[TECHNICAL DETAILS] This song was extremely fun to create. I almost exclusively used 8-bit sounds and then powered them up with layers of effects, reverbs and compressors to make everything sound crisp and full. I really like how it turned out! The part starting at 3:01 is one of my favorites, everything gets crazy and all the main themes come back. It also has that keygen vibe which I have always wanted to emulate. Overall, a really fun project and definitely not as complex as some of my previous compositions.
[SPECIAL EFFECTS] Incredible VFX, here we come! This time I kept the audio effects simple (but still really cool!) because I wanted the main focus to be the space storm madness in the background. Bright colors, flying particles and galactic mist, so awesome! The logo was pretty hard to crate, but It came out exactly as I pictured it. The video took a really long time, but It was worth it ;)
