- Jeff Hammond interviews Max-D driver Tom Meents on his test facility in Paxton, Illinois and learns what he is doing to prepare for the first ever Monster Jam truck front flip attempt. From a specialized ramp to modifications on the Max-D stunt truck, Tom and his team have put in a lot of hard work and research into making this dream a reality. Tom shares his thoughts as he prepares to set a Guinness World Record for the first forward-rotating front flip of a monster truck on June 13, 2015 at the Path of Destruction at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

With what FELD entertainment has done to monster trucks was probably never even imagined 15 years ago. I wish more people would watch and support so they could have even deeper pockets. I feel like there should be more destruction of track rather than truck. That would save some money. Or maybe it wouldnt. Thank you FELD and Monster Jam for the progess of monster trucks.

Kind of funny isn’t it. Max D is putting in the full effort on this, talking the science on it and everything; then Mad Scientist comes along, pulls a slap wheelie, hits a mound and off he goes.

People often don't know this, this is the original chassis he built for Goldberg in early 2000! The one Neil Elliot got for about 10 years, and he had his own for another 11! This chassis didn't get as much attention in competition as his second chassis, but man if these things could talk.....

I'm sorry to say I doubted Tom for a minute. He might actually do this. Also, did anyone else notice Tom saying "It wasn't the tire, the rim gave out" as the video shows the tire exploding?
if you look at the rim that meets with the tire it gave out the bead gave out so when he hit it, the rim partly came off the tire and blowout all the pressure
