Good God, the way "Da Funk" is used to scaffold this thing--that song is fucking 20. Plus. Years. Old, and still sounds so cool, even now. Let's think back to pretty much any other big trend in electronic music over the past couple of decades--all of 'brostep', for example; or a lot of trance; electro that isn't Justice's 1st album; whatever the hell the Chainsmokers are considered. Notice how it sounds really cringe, even though it's probably less than 10 years old?
Daft Punk are gonna still sound amazing when I'm fuckin' 50 or 60 years old, aren't they?
