Delonghi ESAM2600/3000/4000 transmission kit (motor) replacement

The motor of the transmission kit can break down. The brewing unit will stop moving. You can test it using "test mode" and replace following that video.

My Delonghi Magnifica's triangle light always turns on (even though the inside of the machine is clean). I already bought a new infuser but the triangle light still lights. I am still able to use my machine. I just have to turn it on/off until the infuser gets to the right position & the triangle light doesn't turn on. Do you think I need to change my motor / transmission kit? Thanks

my infuser is stuck in up and wont come down with reset. is that the transmission ? how would I get it out ?

Hi. It might be
transmission but it might be electronic part which controls transmission. Does
the machine makes any sound and tries to move it down or just stays in silence?
I can suggest running the test mode or to look around physical parts (motor,

I'd try to manually rotate the transmission motor by hand to get the brew unit back to its "rest" position. I've done this by removing the base of the unit (many screws) but you might be able to reach it from the back size (fewer screws). The nice thing about access from the bottom is that the bottom of the big transmission gear has a hex fitting that is easy to turn.
As to why it is stuck, you have to look at the error. My guess is that it isn't tripping the upper limit switch. There is a great video (by Milen Stoitsev?) showing that this can be caused by a rusted generator-boiler.
