  • Lisa and Scott O'Neil had similar faith but different religions when they married 23 years ago, but they vowed to work together as a team through it all. Here's how their commitment to having a "house of faith" eventually led Scott to choose to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through baptism nearly two decades after their wedding.
Hear more of Scott's conversion and testimony in this episode of the ALL IN podcast: bit.ly/2J22cWO

Scott and Lisa always had a equal eye for each other. I met Scott while doing Executive Protection for Mayor William's. I knew when I met him he was grounded in faith. We found out our daughters played for the same high school. Lisa I met later and it sealed the deal for me that my daughter was surrounded by a great family of belief. Scott and Lisa are friends for life and I am so proud to be a friend to them as well.

Wow! I love these LDS living clips on UA-cam! Thank you so very much to any and all in the church that have worked on this and other LDS Living UA-cam videos! I have already watched quite a few these with great interest and joy! This one caught me by surprise at the end, after hearing the wonderful conversion story of this brother!! It really caught me by surprise at the end, when they showed the father and mother and three daughters all dressed in white, outside the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Temple! After the dad has been baptized, etc., and then received his endowment and was sealed to his wife and three daughters! Because I am from the Philadelphia area originally! I was born and raised in the area! I am my husband and I got to travel back to Pennsylvania from our home in Utah to go to the Philadelphia Temple open house! It was so special for me, since I was raised there actually, etc.!!

I was born in and spent most of my life as an active, faithful, believing JW. This is the exact same story I heard from lovely people as a JW from Sisters who had husbands who did not share our faith, but who eventually "came into The Truth." I find the similarities of the stories from faithful JWs and LDS members fascinating. I also find the stories shared by former JWs and former LDS members incredibly similar, enlightening, and heartening. Happiness is what matters, living a life that feels good and right to the individual, wherever that may lead. Living one's own truth. Good wishes and blessings to all!

This is my testimony and I leave it with you in the name of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, amen 🙏

(Bible says, God comes by the truth of your heart is your crown)means/corona, we are the word of God and our actions are the signs of word, welcome to the corona/tion. Each sentence in the Bible is a sentence from order and each sentence is a year sentence as (1 in the beginning was the word) and (2 the word was with God) and (3 the word was God) (4 and the corona/crown has placed us as word six feet of firmament from each other.) Truth of word flows eternally forward as the distortion of truth is number, numb/cold power numb/ber. The multitudes are being taken back from death/darkness as legion is many took everything from all the word. The light in the darkness is this grain of earth within this universal body and it is protecting all of life as you have a Galactic cell out there and this Galactic cell we are in right now is the body of Christ, you live the body of Christ within Omega as you have all word/will of creation upon you within each cell is a throne for all word of creation, you have your will/word of creation upon equal me/a/sure, you are a universal body, when this is over you will be shown all your action and consequence upon your Galactic realm and when trust is earnt you will claim your universal body again within this multiverse. (universe/unity of verse/unity of word. I wrote a book it is all over the world and the more I try to announce it the more I am shut down. The book is, The last shall be the first and the first shall be the last by Joseph Darrell Walker. If you know the Bible then you will know everything. Voices in head are not mental, think positive and legion as he is many will leave. Genesis/Moses isn't leading us into the darkness he is walking us out of it, so read 4,3,2,1, and it will make better sense.

Its something that is simply a fact and one thing you need to take note of is despite being married to more than 10 wives, Joseph Smith only had children with his first wife which was Emma Hale Smith.

Heavenly Father loves all His children and has a plan of Happiness, its the gospel. But which one? I testify He did through Christ restore fully His Church. The old Mans search for happiness is short and explains your question. Its old again buy each service is so full of truth an The Spirit of God. sorry LDS this is too far... you are not 'The Church' when you deny the full saving power of Jesus Christ. Your book of Mormon says that you have to do the works and Christ fills in the rest, but that is categorically opposite to what the Word of God says, Christ did all. Your salvation isn't dependent on works of your own, lest you should boast, but in the saving work of Jesus Christ. This is from the Word of God (Eph 2:8-9), where Jesus Christ is described as the Word... I plead with you to start reading the Bible, the Word of God, the only scriptures that are true and certain. Get to know Jesus as He has taught us, not the false gospel taught by sinful man (ie book of Mormon).

Proud convert from very roman-catholic faith to the Lds Christian faith. I believe this fellow convert was already a good man who was still on a road that would lead him eventually to God. But if Jesus Christ is real, and He sure is, there is just only one best roadway. I believe all good faiths or religions mean well. However, Jesus Christ the one and only Lord established only one faith, with only one method of baptism (Eph 4:5). Only one church has apostles and prophets which is obviously Jesus Christ's church (Eph. 2:20, Eph 4:11). That one sticks out to me way bigger than a sore thumb. The original Christian church with apostles and prophets. If there were many other churches in the very beginnings of Christianity, like in these days where many claim to be God's or Jesus Christ's church, you could tell which was right or wrong. The only true one has apostles and prophets. All of us who would have been members back then would tell right off the bat a church wasn't true if missing apostles and prophets. Same thing applies today. Anyways, I pray all variety of people that seperate and divide, religious or not, come together and realize not just we're all different and unique anyways, but all one and the same human race. We shouldn't have to come together because of a common greater foe or enemy like in war, because of a common faith, fun party, a funeral, sports game, music, same color skin, same culture, etc. All of us are sons and daughters of the very same planet and origin of creation. We should all unite without having to have these other strong common or popular backgrounds I already mentioned. I don't see so much just what you believe. I see you. I see the person just as I believe God almighty does.
