@@EivindEskedal Well then, try to find a person on E-bay who bought the disc but hates it compared to the standard due most likely then to the plastic feel with the recycled plastic in the disc.
Because they need consistency, day in and day out. Most find one mold that they love, and then have multiples at varying levels of wear (understable/stable/overstable). Have you ever had a disc that you beat in, and absolutely loved--but then you lose it or beat it in too far and it doesn't fly the same anymore? Maybe you buy a new disc that is the exact same, but it doesn't fly quite the same? That will happen to the pro's less, since they are constantly cycling through discs. If one gets beat up, the will add in a new disc and remove the old. His description of how all his destroyers fly differently kind of explains this. With all that being said, if he was playing a tightly wooded course, I'm sure he'd swap out a few of those destroyers for something else.
It's a shame that they're contractually obligated to use one brand of discs. I'd like to see what actual discs they would use if they were free to choose.
You can't remove it add things of a noticable thickness, but, lefts say you nail a tree, and now you have a nick that would discomfort your hand, in this scenario, you are allowed to sand off the nick to return the edge of the disc to it's original shape. That's the idea, you can't sand to change the shape, but if the edge gets scraped, you can fix that
@@sabiebright4554 thanks for the clarification. I know of people who've broken the rule and sanded their new discs. I wasn't aware that it could be used as a repair tool.
From a marketing perspective: How am I supposed to feel inspired to buy "new" discs from Innova when this guy is only bagging PFN Xcals and 2015 Sexy birds? It's like watching Barsby filter through his stack of 11x Eagles. Pound bags is the winner of this video.
love the Uncle Crush bag update! glad to see he isn't using a shopping bag anymore.....
He rocked that shopping bag like a pro though , don't think Mcbeth would of done the that.
He bought himself a couple more discs and just had to upgrade

This is the second best Nate Sexton - In The Bag in the last week or so. ❤
Not an innova guy, but man Nate is a national treasure. Best personality in disc golf. Cheers to 2021, glad to have you back out there!
Innova stood by Josh Anthon in the wake of nonsense woke BS cancel attempt attacks. I'm a Innova man forever now.
Nate might be the best speaker on tour.
It’s great he showed us all the extra stuff he carries in his bag. Gave me some good ideas
Was hoping he'd announce the 2021 firebird.
Didn't it already get released and sold out? :P
Ol' nate is looking fresh with that haircut!!
One of the few non-egotistical players. Thanks for the vid
thanks poppa nate 👍 loved seeing all the extra little things you carry as well
When are more fireflies coming out though 👀
Glad to see another person throwing the rat!
The people need a Philo in the bag!
always love to see Mr. Disc Golf himself talk shop
thank you Nate. I really like the firefly putter. i like you.
Nate Sexton is a treasure.
Nate you need to make a halo orc!! I love the orc and your the only pro that uses it still!!
Agreed. Carry 4 of them, from flippy to meat-hook. Best woods disc I’ve thrown. Would love him to release a new line.
Hey. I know that stamp. I drew that stamp. lol Glad that you're as proud of it as I am, Nate. :)
Which one? I missed it. Sweet to see your own work appreciated!
@@MegaLaban12345 Very first disc.
@@TheDerrickRyan Aha, looks sick!
@@MegaLaban12345 Thanks. :)
That pound bag looks sick! Been looking for a new one. If it’s good for uncle crush it’ll be good for me.
When are we going to see some more stock of the firefly? Absolutely love that disc and mine are getting pretty beat in. I’d love a new main putter!
Those nuun tablets are a life saver, I use them for backpacking and hiking.
Need to to a quick update to this video noting the bag switch to the shopping bag.
Happy bday Nate
We need fireflies!
That hannah firebird is sick
Would love a close up profile of the disc itself, sideways view... Would be premium
My first favorite disc…R Pro Dart. Still have one.
I have a couple beat up star darts, and I love them! I Will be checking out an R-pro one eventually
We all miss Nate sexton on tour
Maybe I'm blind but I've still never seen a signature XCal for sale yet.
I got one from my local store last week
love this dude.
Wonder where the mako3 went. Kinda lacking from the bag.
I love Nate's Dart Love
I was hoping we'd see him use the Sexton Xcaliber
Nate's beard on fleeeek
Hi Nate
Nate: Yea I don't throw these thunderbirds too far, about 400 feet max. Me who throws 12 speeds 300 feet: -_-
Too true, it kinda hurts when you hear it
I feel that, somehow I can only throw forehand 300 feet but backhand like 250
listen to hips don't lie when you throw it makes you throw farther
What bag Nate use?
What he throws, I THROW!
just great guy
I realy want the signature xcalliber, but cant get it anywhere
I bet the Standard Xcalibur in the standard version of the plastic that is will fly the same or very very close.
@@caseysmith544 I know :) but I just think the signature series looks cooler
@@EivindEskedal Well then, try to find a person on E-bay who bought the disc but hates it compared to the standard due most likely then to the plastic feel with the recycled plastic in the disc.
Seems like such a good dude
Looked a bit weird without the Firebird and Firefly clips but whatever. Good to see Nate back out playing.
legit miss nate man. imo strongest dg commentator in the game
Hi Nate!
No rangefinder?
Please come out with more fireflies this year
Why do all the pros have so many of the same type of disc?
Because they need consistency, day in and day out. Most find one mold that they love, and then have multiples at varying levels of wear (understable/stable/overstable). Have you ever had a disc that you beat in, and absolutely loved--but then you lose it or beat it in too far and it doesn't fly the same anymore? Pshh.. No Mako3? Seems suspect
Not in the bag for the big course he was playing at
Innova needs a Hannah Firebird
Can we get Calvin
It's a shame that they're contractually obligated to use one brand of discs. I'd like to see what actual discs they would use if they were free to choose.
From what I heard he used to putt with P2s since innova made the molds for all of Discmanias old stuff
I was thinking same thing.. I love innova though… but at some point I got hold of a buzzzz and a surge SS… man those are two of my faves.
Wonder what grit sandpaper he uses?
Did someone really trademark in the bag? lol
Wait.... Nate still plays disc golf.
An Innova player without a pig feels illegal.
Commenting before watching and guessing he bags at least 1 Firebird. haha
Nate Vs Brodie!! Bag wars
What about a mosquito spray
Innova is selling a 2021 glow Firebird for a lot of Money and nate doesnt even using it …
👍🏻
Since when can you take a sandpaper block to your discs? I thought that was illegal. Also, release the birds. Light the candle. LIGHT THE CANDLE!!!
You can't remove it add things of a noticable thickness, but, lefts say you nail a tree, and now you have a nick that would discomfort your hand, in this scenario, you are allowed to sand off the nick to return the edge of the disc to it's original shape. I'd trust the pro to know the rules a bit better than you.
@@sabiebright4554 thanks for the clarification. I know of people who've broken the rule and sanded their new discs. I wasn't aware that it could be used as a repair tool.
@@blueboy2727 as a guy who hits a lot of trees I also bag some super fine sandpaper.
Bummer about that Orc
Rats kicked the Buzzz's out of my bag
Took 1 year of trying to get a Sexton Firebird at retail price and have been trying to get a Firefly for 2 years. 👎🏽 innova
Can't be mad at Innova because you want to throw 2 of their most sought after disc's.
21Fireböörds when?
Sad to see that Nate isnt throwing orcs anymore

Its not only to market discs though
Nates sorta sus. Imma fact check’em tho🤠
I’m certain he’s not a 1st amendment type a fella
His body type and energy don’t at all seem very disc golfey 🤔
