Fairly easy to remove. It was a pain to line the screw up in the actual sensor to put back. Therefore it took about an hour. The part was about $35 from Autozone. Saved me a bunch of $$$ on labor!!! Decent video! Thanks!
I just replaced the same sensor in my 2011 Chevy Cruze I think you should update your video and maybe tell people with large hands that they're going to have to remove the gas pedal in order to get in such a small spot but thank you very much the information was very very helpful
Replaced on my 2015 srx with oem delco part but car would not start. Kept saying "press brake pedal to start". Also tried to reset/ learn brake pedal sensor with Foxwell scanner, but still would not rest/learn? Put old part back in... At least car would start again!
I really like your videos! Thanks! I have a question. My brake lights dont work. But the central midle one it works right. I have changed bulbs but no luck. Do you think my problem can be the brake swich ? Thanks
Hi mate, I have vauxhall Astra design turbo 2016 and on the dashboard cruise control system and abs light on. May be my car brake padel position sensor may be damaged that's way lights on can you tell me
After watching many videos I found one where there’s a panel and a plug in on the passenger side down against the center console. I pulled the cover off, lifted the clip and put die-electric grease on it and suddenly the tail lights work!
2008 Impala with the brake lights staying on once i turn the ignition the brake lights (left, right, & trunk) stay on constantly. Once the car is turned off the lights will turn off. Both signal lights are working correctly. I've replaced the sensor & my brake lights still stay on constantly. Not sure exactly what to do at this point 🤷🏾♂️.

Very helpful, thank you. Idk why people say these videos are a joke. Put it back in the way you found it obviously.

Estoy en las mismas
If you already haven't done so since your comment, you may need to get it calibrated which requires an advanced scan tool.
Where is the spot for 2010 Chevy Malibu lt
Same spot
Lol yea I’ve been waiting 7 months to find out
M podría ayudar para saber cómo checar el sensor del freno
7mm also works (at least on my HHR)
That screw must be a foot long . is there any adjustments required?
Just replaced mine and the lights still stay on . Lol
Same did you figure out the issue?
NVM I got it, I would need a top of the line scan tool to recalibrate the sensor itself. Just going to bring it to a shop because it's a quick job
@@masonnash9305 yes , I took in and out the fuse/plug hidden in the center console . On the bottom passenger side . Blew some dust off and it worked .
@@thatvegashighrisedude2757 could you tell me where the fuse for it is?😂
@@SpazActivated yes its on the passenger side , on the bottom of the center c0nsole .
Getting it out is easy. Show us how you put it back in.
What a joke.
All of their videos are a joke
