Travor Kagochi and Tashi Langton make it look easy. These Foss High School science teachers - each with about a decade of experience - lean on each other as thought partners and collaborators, to the benefit of their students.
In their classrooms, they focus on social justice and weave it into chemistry and biology content in a way that makes science more relevant to students. They have a unified goal of helping students see themselves in the curriculum and bringing in voices that might otherwise be left out.
