- “KnuckleBuster” Chassis Rebuild & Ivan Stewart
Stacey takes a well worn, ’73 Chevy pickup that was left for dead in the late 80’s, and starts bringing it back to life by upgrading the suspension and brakes. Not only is this a project that most anybody can do, but it is the start of a three-part series of the major steps that are involved in rebuilding a vehicle. With the way the economy is and the price of new vehicles today, this show demonstrates that there is a better option than buying something new…. bust your own knuckles and build it yourself! Then Stacey sits down with off-road racing legend Ivan Stewart to find out what makes him “the Ironman”. - Авто та транспорт
Hey Stacy, So cool you got to talk to the "IRONMAN" himself in an interview!
Wow, looks great!!!!!!!!!!
The Knuckle buster is actually a budget project.
I've seen worse looking trucks than that for a project to start with, this truck is worn out but the body isn't too bad
Building a 1960 B75 Mack
Any ideas...???
We have a series on upgrades to a classic International Loadstar. Maybe that will help! ua-cam.com/play/PLGLZmgoTV08sI9lQ2llMsLuY5mZtj3KAR.html
How can you get rid of rust spots on the body of your car
You will probably have to cut the rust out and weld in new metal. We've done this in a couple episodes, so look around the channel for ideas!
Thanka
Literally nothing is cheap now
But now you need 2 spare tires because you have 2 different size tires on the truck and no where to put spare tires
I wouldn't ruin it by lowering the truck, I'm too old-school and I like original build and I think if you want something lower, get a car, don't use a truck
