  • Rachel Maddow looks at an example from the Donald Trump financial documents submitted by Michael Cohen as part of his House Oversight Committee testimony, in which Trump appears to adjust the valuation of a piece of real estate to change how he would look to a bank, which would be a crime if that's the case.

This Daily KOS comment sums up the current situation perfectly...
"The GOP is no longer a major political party: it has devolved into pure hate masquerading as an ideology. One day, we’ll look back at the GOP the same way we look back at the KKK in their heyday in the 1920s, when they were a political force to be reckoned with. We’ll wonder how we ever, as a nation, tolerated such putrid, vile filth to infect our democracy."

@dirac bracket This would not be the first treasonous felony he has committed.
Treason is one of a few felonies that demands a death sentence.
That is why the Democrats have been tip - toeing around all this. They absolutely need to proceed carefully all around what is being revealed. They have to get it right.

Now the dominoes start to fall and it's suddenly every man for himself. We don't need to wait and hope for his cronies to grow a spine thankfully- because thats not happening. We just need to wait for law enforcement to do their job.

Rachel Maddow’s talented storyteller is that she always starts her narrative from a dismal historical foundation. The story is unfolding gradually as it is centrally approached. It reaches its highest climax when it reaches the centre of the scandal and immediately exploded with the most reliable power.

There is a different issue about Deutsch Bank. They had been given large fines for their own activities dealing with Russians and other illegal activity. Their billion + fine was reduced. Why did he use the same supposed moniker of 45? What was the 1.6 million dollars for, where was it from, what was the payment method, what did he get in return? I read that he got no bid government contracts worth around 100 million. Did Brody take an abortion bullet for trump? Sersha Ronan looks exactly like Ivanka, Stephanie Cliffords and Karen McDougal, trump obviously has a strong preference for blondes that look like Ivanna/Ivanka; was it really he that had the affair with her?

corey jacobs From Lil Giant As I am sure you realize, Trump was impeached (or indicted) the first time round. The Senate did not convict, so even though impeached he did not lose office. The reason they did not convict is that the two reasons were not impeachable offenses. One was his right as President, which even Obama performed in office, and the other was simply not a High Crime or Misdemeanor. He is considered to be impeached, regardless. The Constitution did not provide any terms for an impeachment not completed in the Senate. It is unlikely that any President not convicted in the Senate would be convicted in court. The Senate has lower standards for conviction than a criminal court.
I will not go into all the illegalities used to impeach Trump. You would not believe me because the Mainstream Media (MSM) tells a completely different story than the real one. Ninety percent of MSM is owned by Genneset, which is controlled by six-member committee. Since Genneset controls the narrative for this country truth has become a football. Or perhaps that would be a ping-pong ball. Very few know or care enough to dig truth out. It would become a case of difference of viewpoint to discuss here, and that is pointless in a small Comment section.
However, the book “The Federalist Papers,” presents a lot of the viewpoints of the Founders, through their communications, if you are interested. Hillsdale College also provides short UTube videos on the Constitution. Understanding the reasons behind the Constitution is very rare these days. Even those who are familiar with the vocabulary, do NOT understand the reasons for the principles contained within it. One example? Most are now trying to change this Constitutional Republic into a Democracy. The Founders deliberately avoided creating a democracy. An illustration of one reason for that is attributed to Benjamin Franklin. He said that a Democracy was like two lions and a goat trying to decide what is for dinner. The founders had several reasons for disliking a Democracy. The final death knell was that democracy has a short-term life span, historically speaking, and demise comes too quickly-approximately two hundred years. Think about Greece, which was a democracy. I realize you might believe, because of the loose terminology those in power continually throw around to blind us, that democracy exists throughout the world. Those who understand government and systems know that is not true. Democracy is a noun. Democratic is a general adjective, or a category. Republic is is also a noun. If you understand the difference between the two nouns, you will also understand the reason for the electoral college which the “Progressives” have, and are, doing their best to cancel. They will probably win. And America will lose.

Those people seem to not understand, or not value, liberal democracy. By liberal democracy I mean voting is not limited to male land-owners, etc.
Those 40-45% represent majority votes in low-population red states, each of whom elect 2 senators. The Senate is going to tend Republican for many cycles to come. Probably until we fix our out-of-control capitalism, stop abandoning them as Rust Belt, deriding their homes as flyover country, etc. And above all *get the money out of politics*.

What I don't understand is how the bank didn't realize how massively inflated such a number was in the first place. Couldn't they have checked and realized that they were being defrauded?

Goodbye trump assets. The banks are going to freak on Donny.
He wont be able to ever borrow money again
That's how he operates on loans. So that means trump inc is going to be bank rupt soon.

So he fudged the value by about a quarter billion, in this case around 1500%. Who hasn't done that before? Heck, if I had a dime for every time I've done it, I'd be a wealthy man.
