I who have never known men is my all time favorite book, and I'm beyond excited to see you read it! It's a short but impactful read, and I love to see people's thoughts about it because there's always new ideas and musing I didn't think about.
I'm excited for your thoughts on I Hope This Finds You Well, because it was my top book of 2024 and I haven't seen any other booktubers that I follow talk about it.
I am so excited for you to read Shark Heart!!! It was my favorite book last year and definitely in my top 5 fave books. It is beautifully written. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
The Count of Monte Cristo was my favourite book of 2024. One of the best books I've ever read! Don't let the size intimidate you. The book practically reads itself and once you've finished - you'll find yourself wishing there was more ❤
I avoided The Count of Monte Cristo for yearsss due to how long it is but I finally read it in December and it was pretty worth it. I read it primarily via audiobook which made it way less daunting.
The Count of Monte Cristo is the best book ever. Don't be afraid of its size, it's worth every page. I listened to it on audio in 2024 and it was a blast.
The Count of Monte Cristo is so good! I would recommend the audiobook for ease of reading. There are a couple of slower sections of the book, but it's worth pushing through them.
If you go into Powerless just for a fun time, you might like it! I had issues with it for sure but it also was intriguing and fun. I really want to read the rest of the series!
The Count of Monte Cristo is PHE-NO-ME-NAL! I was assigned this book in high school as a summer reading book and I thought that I would be reading it the whole summer. However, I finished it in a week. I couldn't stop reading. I wasn't sleeping and I had to be reminded to eat. 😄 One of the best books ever written!
The Nightangale is on my TBR again for the third month in a row and now I really need to read it!! Would love to see you read that first. Great TBR though 😊
I would recommend starting the Count of Monte Cristo sooner. It's actually quite easy to follow. I'm a big fan of the movie V for Vendetta, and there are so many theme crossovers with that book. Yes, it is long, but you could take it in chunks then, if you start it early. Happy Reading!
Such a fun way to choose your TBR! You have an amazing stack of books to read. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on them. I loved The Teller of Small Fortunes. I hope you do too❤
The dragon is everything! He looks so good on the chair behind you. 😍Loved Academy for Liars, hope you do to. Love Kristin Hannah but I always get a book hangover because she gets you totally immersed in the story. It takes me a day or two to open a new book. I really liked The Crimson Moth, it was really cute. Oh girl, The Count of Monte Cristo has so many words. It's so long, it takes FOREVER to tell the story. I dnf'd it after about 500 pages because it's just too many words to say something. But, good luck to you and I've heard it's an absolute favorite of many, many people. You'd better wear lots of glasses because you're going to need more than two sets of eyes.
i was gifted the nightingale by one of my mom's coworkers a little while ago, so maybe i'll read it this first quarter too! i've never read a book at the same time as any youtuber i watch, so it would be fun
Count of Monte Cristo aside, it looks like a good variety. I adored The Teller of Small Fortunes. And you should read We Used to Live Here when it's cold and snowy (or at least as close as it gets to that where you live), so sooner rather than later. Also, something I didn't know when I read and returned the copy to my library, it has small puzzles on the epistolary pages.
🐎 So…2025 is a no-buy year for me for books. I bought 250+ used or thrifted books over the course of 2024 that I still have to read through - I’m prioritizing reading down and decluttering my physical TBR if it doesn’t end up being something I’d recommend. I only have two things in my preorders list (Onyx Storm and Four Ruined Realms), and I have a few things I’d still like to preorder if I can make a good dent in my shelves first. My first reads of the year are the Six of Crows duology (currently on book 2), and then I think I might reread Iron Flame to prep for the next book. I don’t know what I want to dive into! I’ve been itching for some vampires, so maybe Empire of the Vampire? I really don’t know - so many options! Been toying with the idea of a TBR jar when I can’t choose myself and letting fate choose for me instead.
🐴🐴🐴excited for you to read demon copperhead!!! I am very partial to Barbara Kingsolver. Also, as someone who doesn’t love historical fiction I did love The great alone by Kristin Hannah, so if you end up liking her writing style that would be my recommendation :) happy reading!
Yesss The Nightingale! A favorite of mine for sure! Oh I’m so curious to hear your thoughts on Powerless whenever you get to it because I kind of hated it 😂 I recently picked up A Woman Is No Man and I can’t wait to read it! Haha The Count of Monte Cristo is on my 2025 priority TBR but I’m terrified because… well, you know! I’ve heard that it’s a favorite of all time from so many people though. So many others here that I want to read, so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
I listened to The Nightingale, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Demon Copperhead in 2024. They were 3 of my top favorites and I'm just an average lady that read or listened to 31 books last year. Don't be afraid of them. David Copperfield on the other hand was one of my least favorites of all time so I'm glad you didn't choose that!
I loved the Vera Wong book. Definitely 5 stars for me. I just finished We Used to Live Here. Gave it 4 stars. I really liked it, but the only thing I didn't like is that it has an ambiguous ending. Not too fond of those. I have heard rumors that there is a sequel eventually coming out. How true that is I don't know. Good Luck with your huge TBR!
The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my all time faves! Also, A Woman is No Man is an incredible work of Palestinian-American fiction. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
I'm excited for you to read We Used to Live Here. One of my faves from 2024! It also would be great if you prioritized Demon Copperhead. I haven't read it yet but it's high on my list, and I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts!
🐴🐴🐴 I want to pick up the crimson moth, but tbh, I read Serpent & Dove, and it really flopped for me. My reading slump alarm bells are going off! I'm excited for your review ❤
oooo I'm planning to read Shark Heart soon, I'm nervous excited for it lol. Demon Copperhead has been catching my eye a lot.. but I think I'd like to try reading David Copperfield first. We'll see how ambitious I am
Count of Monte Cristo is my all time favorite book. Looks like peoples favorites from 2024. My book club read Demon Copperhead last year. It was in dire need of an editor. They could’ve cut 200 pages out minimum and it would’ve been a better book. Loved Vera! I’m excited to see what you think of ministry of time. I read it and would love to hear someone else’s thoughts.
One book I recommend everyone to read in 2025 is Your Life Your Game by Keezano...It beautifully shows how connecting with God and building meaningful relationships can lead to spiritual growth and success in both your personal and professional life. This book truly changed my life-a must-read. God bless❤❤
The Count of Monte Cristo is one of the best books I’ve read in 57 years! The Nightingale was my favorite book out of the 100 that i read in 2024.
I who have never known men is my all time favorite book, and I'm beyond excited to see you read it! It's a short but impactful read, and I love to see people's thoughts about it because there's always new ideas and musing I didn't think about.
I played a TBR game for the first time for January and ended up with The Count of Monte Cristo too. I'm really enjoying it so far!
Loved!!! Heartless Hunter. Cannot wait for the second book to come out later this year.
So excited you’re reading the Crimson Moth series! It is Heartless Hunter in the US but the words are the same. It’s one of my favorites of 2024.
You will absolutely LOVE The Count of Monte Cristo!
Teller of small fortunes is the sweetest book!
The Count of Monte Cristo is so good! It's scary big but so worth it!
I love how you picked your books! And, holy wow that's a lot of books! Good luck! 🐴
I'm excited for your thoughts on I Hope This Finds You Well, because it was my top book of 2024 and I haven't seen any other booktubers that I follow talk about it.
Martyr! is AMAZING. I hope you love it!
Demon Copperhead on audio is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!
I am so excited for you to read Shark Heart!!! It was my favorite book last year and definitely in my top 5 fave books. It is beautifully written. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
I ADORED Martyr! It was one of my top 5 books of 2024, and I read 74. I hope you enjoy it!
🐴
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on The Nightingale. It's my all time fave book, still think about it regularly after quite a few years.
The Count of Monte Cristo was my favourite book of 2024. One of the best books I've ever read! Don't let the size intimidate you. The book practically reads itself and once you've finished - you'll find yourself wishing there was more ❤
Love The Nightingale. Sad but shows how courageous people can be in time of war.
The Nightingale was amazing, one of the very few books that really got me emotionally. Def recommend listening to the audiobook while reading
I just read the Count of Monte Cristo this year, and I loved it. It does not feel like 1200 + pages.

Good morning Syd happy new year to you and I hope that 2025 brings you a love and happiness
A Woman Is No Man is one of the all time best books I’ve ever read!
The Count of Monte Cristo is terrific.
It was exciting to see that 4 of my TBR books showed up! So cool.. good luck 🐎.
I Who Have Never Known Men is wild you’re gonna love it!!
Curious to see you read We Used to Live Here. Happy New Year!
i love your hoodie 🥰😂

oh girl oh my god that is a big list but ... The Count of Monte Cristo gotta be up there!
Happy New Year to everyone, I wish you well and happy reading ♥️
Loved the heartless hunter ❤ so good
The Nightingale is sad... but it does have some redemption at the end..,,.
The Count of Monte Cristo is so good, though! It's really fast paced and doesn't feel as long as it is!
I'd suggest listening to the audio of count of Monte Cristo
It took me 6 weeks to read the count of Monte Cristo. It was worth it but to this day is still the longest book I’ve ever read.
I'm reading the Count this year too!!

The count of Monte Cristo reads really quick just so you know- it looks big but it’s such a good read!!
The Count of Monte Cristo is an all time fave of mine. Really need to do a reread. The 2002 film adaptation is fantastic too.
I know it's intimidating but the counte of monte cristo is EXCELLENT
I loved The Nightingale!❤ I hope you enjoy it too
i was gifted the nightingale by one of my mom's coworkers a little while ago, so maybe i'll read it this first quarter too! i've never read a book at the same time as any youtuber i watch, so it would be fun
I’m so excited to see what you think of I who have never known men. I gave it a 4 star at first but bumped it up because it lived in my brain.
i’m SO EXCITED for you to read shark heart!!! i really hope you enjoy it, it’s so beautiful

Onyx Storm gotta be coming soon, dawg. I know Iron Flame wasn't your greatest read ever (I liked it) but I have hope for you and the third book.

🐴 🐎 I really think you should try powerless. It’s such a good book. I think you’d probably like it.

Joné for the win! 5:11
Count of Monte Cristo?? I'm excited to see what you think, I've been so intimidated by it
You are a hoot sweet lady. Love your vlog. My heart goes out to you😊.
Heartless Hunter is on my Jan TBR as well!
I'm excited for you to read Shark Heart I think you'll like that one
I highly recommend you prioritize A Woman is No Man and The Count of Monte Cristo. So good!
I liked Powerless better than Days at the Bookshop so maybe it will be all good. Both are entertaining, i don’t think you will be disappointed! 🐴
Shark Heart is a book that I am interested in so will be very interested to know your thoughts when you get to it. Happy New Year.

Bro! It's looks like Rest is Peace Monte Cristo. Ok! I would move it to the yearly TBR.
❤📚📚❤️
Read The Count of Monte Cristo over January and February. You'll enjoy it so much more with all the other reading you have.
A Woman is no Man is a really good book, but man did it piss me off like no other!!
That’s a lot of books! 😮
I enjoyed Vera Wong.
I've got Academy for Liars on my TBR as well and it's making me NERVOUS - I've not liked anything I've tried by Alexis Henderson yet...
Absolutely cool & I’m excited! ❤🎉
Happy new year! I hated The Nightingale, I dnf-ed it... Hope it goes well for you..
Happy New Year! ☺
The Count of Monte Cristo is a great book but CHONKY 😂Happy New Year!
Can't wait!
This TBR is imposible! 😂😂😂
