We have replaced the gas cap and the purge valve the service engine light still comes on then off over and over. Same code P0442. There is a recall on the Low Pressure Fuel Tube...could that be the cause of still getting this code?

Hi Jennifer, please check if there's a leak in the fuel vapor hose that leads from the fuel tank to the intake. Check also the condition of the fuel tank pressure sensor.

Hi Nikhil, you possibly have a leak in the fuel vapor hose that leads from the fuel tank to the intake. Try also to tighten the fuel cap and see if the issue will continue to persist.
