Oh this weapon banner 💀 I had 180 pulls on Furina banner and Furina was guaranteed. I got Furina with 70 pulls. I was sure I would be able to get her weapon. NO! Two Jadefall Splendors! My lucky Baizhu now has R3 Jadefall Splendor (yeah, I already had this weapon). I wasn't ready to waste my fate points so I entered grind mode. Never again. It was my worst Genshin experience.

Furina is like my best 5 star (i have like 3 at level 30+💀) but i got EXTREMELY lucky as i got guaranteed yelan like 20 pulls in and i got furina in the next 10 pull when her banner came up
And i had no guarantee for her weapon yet i got it in like 5 pulls

Here is a tip: pay attention to your combo in colorful stage. When all you gat is perfects your combo will be the perfect color until you get a great or lower, then it will be the great color for the rest of the song. (If someone already said this or you did I’m sorry I haven’t been updated in a while.)

Pity is basically the amount of pulls/ wishes it takes you before you can obtain the weapon or character you want Whatever you are wishing for is usually guaranteed after the 90th pull according to the game but it’s more often the 80th
You have 50% chance to get the main 5 star on the event banner. That’s why if you ever watch genshin wishing videos you’ll notice the player saying “I lost my 50/50!” Or “I won my 50/50”
And speaking of losing 50/50s; there’s a 50% chance you’ll get an off banner character from the Standard Banner even if you wish on the event banner) Mona,Deyha, Diluc, Qiqi, Keqing, Jean or tighnari) if that happens then your pity (the number of wishes you’ve done) reset to 0 and changes your 50% chance of getting the character you wanted to 100%
