Hope this question doesn't sound stupid but are these dyes safe for kids? My son and daughter dream of having colored hair and now that they are not going to school, I don't think it is a bad idea for them to have a little fun.
hey, so I'm a somewhat light blonde and I want to use this hair colour. I wash my hair 5 times a week (my hair's curly and I have to wash it to get it to cooperate) with cold water. I've done some research and some websites say that blue hair dye sometimes won't come out of blonde hair. Will it come out of my hair eventually or will I have to cut my hair off? I would love to have my hair dye almost completely gone in 2-3 months, would that be possible? I'm only planning on dying the tips of my hair.
All hair can react differently to dye, but in general blue dyes - and especially our Aquamarine - do tend to stick to hair better than other colors. Frequent washing will make the color fade faster, but again, everyone's hair is different. We always recommend a strand test beforehand!
this video helped so much! i do have some questions 1. id love to use poseidon blue and the black transylvania dyes from you :). im am confused with how much dye to buy. im thinking of using mostly the poseidon on mosf of my hair and then the other half would be black (google Alex dorame with black and blue hair to see what im talking about) 2. my hair goes a few inches past my shoulders, would i buy just the two 8 oz bottles? (one color each?) 3. my hair is currently brown, although the original color is kind of a dirty blonde/light brunette. are there any types of bleach i could use that doesnt really damage my hair as much? 4. what level of hair color does the poseidon blue work best? i know this is quite a lot but if you could answer soon, itd be appreciated. thank you :)
Hi there! If your hair is at shoulder length then one 4oz bottle of each color should be enough! Of course, you can always get 8oz instead to be safe - and if you have dye leftover, it's still good in the bottle for up to 12 months after opening so lots of time for touchups! It will be the level of developer that you choose that will be harshest on your hair. A lower volume developer will be gentler on the hair, but at the cost of not lifting as much color - with higher volume developer, it lifts more color but there is higher risk of damage. In general, we like Pravana brand lightening products because they're cruelty-free just like us 😊 For Poseidon, we generally recommend that the hair be at a level 8-9 (light blonde/near platinum) for the best results! Hope this helps! 💙
