I did make an update video on how I'm using this sandbag and how it's holding up. If you're interested, you can check that video out here ua-cam.com/video/8fgPia0x3p4/v-deo.html
Became a proud Goruck user after getting a GR1 and loading it down w 30# plates and rucking it. I love sandbags, now I hve a Goruck 120# on the way! Thanks for the review!
Just got the 20lb one for my wife, made in Vietnam, as is the 40lb one I purchased a few months ago. So seems like they aren’t making them in the US now. Still very high quality though.
Ahhh good to know, thanks for the correction. I do know if it breaks it will be repaired by their Scars team in Jacksonville. We’ve been abusing this thing for months and it doesn’t show any signs of wear at all. Regardless of where it’s made I’d feel comfortable standing by their quality. Glad to hear you guys have a couple bags, they are pretty versatile training tools!
@@Levi.Jaeckel Yep they seem almost indestructible. Rogue does have some USA made ones but I chose to go with GoRuck instead because of the better warranty.
I’m looking to start with a 40lb… Rumor is you can do 40 Lb of sand, and get another filler bag for pea gravel, which may weigh a bit more than 40 LB? Or is it smarter to buy a 60 LB bag, and get a 40 and 60 filler bag for it?
I haven’t tested the different filler bag method, so I can’t confirm that would work. But, ironically, I do know that there’s a significant sale on this specific sand bag for today and tomorrow only. At that rate the 60lb may makes sense? There’s a link to their site in the description 👌🏼
