Estonia was robbed. This song is a simple masterpiece, I'm so sad it didn't qualify. Jüri was my 2nd favourite after Freddie. I'm so disappointed right now, there is no justice in this world! It wasn't his best performance of the song, but still so and so much better than Azerbaijan. (Yes, i can complain, i voted 20 times. Bye money.) So was Iceland (and almost everyone else). I feel so sad for the both of them, they both deserved so much to go through. Even when Jüri didn't passed to the finals, he still remains as a winner for me. Estonia couldn't have made a better choice with sending him this year. Also i can't believe Greta was robbed for the second time (May has to do with the fact that the commentators atleast in my country said it was a copy of Måns & Loreen. Which is so not true, but people believe what they hear right.) She was amazing. #Justiceforbothofthem

I honestly have no clue too... I'm just mad aswell as they turned the backing vocals louder so you almost couldn't hear Samra. Both of our favourites are out... i truly expected both of them to go through.
That was a smart move tho. If you can't sing: Just let the backings do all the work.
I must say that kinda I lost my hope for Jüri thanks to all the bad reviews he got for his rehearsals :/

his choreography and stage presence should be different not this creepy flirting with the cameraman and he would have gotten alot better score but the result was it just creeped out the viewers a little,but the song itself was very good

Actually Azerbaijan and Cyprus deserved the final in my opinion. They were pretty good. But I was really surprized when they said that Austria qualified.... Estonia should've been instead of Austria....

Jüri couldn't qualify because the stage performance wasn't great. He had to focus on the cards and on the cameras and kind of on his appearance, instead of just focusing on his voice and on his song. He couldn't really show his emotions because he has to think about his choreography. He seemed to be kind unfocused, I think. Well, he truly did mess up a bit. This is what i really don't like about the Eurovision: everything has to look entertaining and exciting. I am sure if Jüri performed exactly as in the Estonian preselection he would be qualified to the Grand final because his voice is so breathtaking and amazing. It's really a pity. You don't have to make a big show to get in the final, you know. If he had done that, he would have been doing great automatically. It is so heartbreaking that he isn't qualified, damn. I still cannot believe that such an incredible talent isn't in the Grand Final.
There was also a comment here, were an an Estonian read in the Estonian newspaper that the Swedish managers wanted to change the performance of Jüri, which was in my opinion a big big mistake. You know whom you can thank for...
Lara Pluym I'm really mad about it, I think stage choreo is important too but for me this was great doesn't matter if he had those small mistakes and there are some contestants who didn't deserve do go to final as much as Juri.

If you still feel bad that this wonderful song finished last in 2016, then I remind you of what Mans and Petra taught us on „How to win the ESC“. First step: Memorable beginning (perhaps with a horn), second step: drums with half-naked men or old women, third step: ethnical background with an instrument, no one ever heard of before, fourth step: a violin, fifth step: adding a DJ, sixth step: memorable costumes, seventh step: the song must be about love or peace and finally you need a man in a hamster wheel ;-))) Now you know why Jüri Pootsmann failed last year - but the song - about love ;-) - is still much better than most of the songs that passed on into the final.

As every year there's always a country that I call "sacrifical victim", a country that is very high in the tops of many fans and that don't get through the semi-final, like San Marino 2013, Israel 2014 or Czech Republic 2015. This year the sacrifical victim is Estonia, but all my sacrifical victims the year after made great results. Estonia, it would be better next year.

What a nightmare of a semifinal. Almost all the songs were terrible. I've finally come to realize that the ESC is not a song contest - it's just a really bad joke. A real song contest would have a professional jury and they would rank Estonia #1. With no competition what so ever - Estonia had the best song by far! - it still didn't qualify. What a disaster! It will be interesting to see the split result between the jury and televotes. I have a funny feeling Estonia is once again underrated by an incompetent jury. Feeling sad for all the people out there who know good music when they hear it!

I really like this song,but the reason it didn't qualify was because:
The staging was good,however,it forces camera to have a distant and weird goddamn angles.
As I said,the camera angles,they were weird af and too far away from Juri.
He himself seemed a bit nervous,and also failed the card throw.His Eesti Laul nf performance was better both gesture and camera angle wise.
I just hooe that we see him in the future on esc.
