I totally agree. The game can get pretty old pretty fast. It’s probably best to play it in small sessions and not play it too often otherwise the game starts to feel like a chore.
I don't know why I only saw this now, and I must say I only partially agree... the positives are pretty on point, some of the negatives are fairly subjective. Starting with the mission construction, since the game is meant to be around farming loot, easily memorable levels definitely aid with, an example of that being dungeons in WoW... and both games have bosses with pretty interesting mechanics. Traversal can be aided by exploring the map, and unlocking safehouses, you can fast travel between them but you still need to actually walk to certain locations which I do get can be tedious but it's not if you enjoy exploring and looking for hidden bits of in-game lore, and various other stuff you can find dotted around the city. The gunplay is only a part of the game, at higher levels you can spec into several different specializations, from healing, tanking, dps... the usual, and with classified gear that takes each class to a different notch since all classes end up getting even more specialized with gear sets and you can even mix and match to a certain degree. My personal favorite was Predator's mark which is absolutely brutal in PVP if you can land those 10 headshots.... and while gunfights can feel just like dumping mags into someone, that usually means you're underequipped/levelled or not aiming for weakpoints, and playing with some friends can be really helpful when dealing with even hardest bosses. Buuut the rest are pretty on point, even after some 500 hours I still get annoyed at the combat movement and the AI are basically just headless chickens, which can end up really tanky and deadly depending on how high you go in the difficulty setting.
I’ve been playing the base game with nothing else added for 5 years and I still find fun in it but this review does makes sense, it is pretty repetitive. Maybe it’s just nostalgia but I still love it
@@ricko2301 early testing of the game came in 2015 and I played a bit of it Although it was no real game progress I would add it as another year since the alpha was technically a year before full release
Yeah same, I've been playing the Division for 3 years and it's still fun to me. I just love the idea of the snow covered Manhattan and apocalypse vibes
All shooters are repetitive. Any game of a specific genre will be this way 90% of the entire game with maybe 10% added differences between the games of the same genre. Repetition is part of gaming in general.
Lots of nostalgia on this one. Almost 90 hours of game time since launch stop playing around 2 to 3 months later. Love the atmosphere and style of this game but riding solo got hard real quick. Hopefully they do a full rebuild of the game and fix the cons you mentioned and keep solo players in mind, for the next game or even a whole new ip 🤷🏼♂️. Would be top tier for sure. 💯
Corrections: You can level up guns using the Optimization Station You get new abilities and perks by upgrading the home base The Dark Zone is where it's at honestly the story is there to set up for DIV2 Fast travel is available to safe houses
I just bought this game and the second as a bundle on ps4. I have to say, it's actually a great game. It's not something I thought I'd like very much but I'm hooked. It's a cool rpg shooter. Heavily loot based but with great customization. Most guns can be equipped with multiple attachments that alter the stats of the gun. You can have a sawed off shotgun with unlimited bullets too. The skills are cool and plentiful. They really encourage co-op play but every part of the game is playable solo as well which means that you aren't forced into situations with people and you also don't feel like you're missing out on anything when playing alone. The map is cool if a bit too big for my taste, but it's nice to explore because you're constantly rewarded. Definitely excited to play the second game.
The final product of Ubisoft games might not be great, but there concept and ideas of games are next level. Ubisoft is pretty creative with what they come up with and that's why I like them.
I played through the whole game with a 4 man group, I agree with everything you said and would probably give it a 5/10. With friends, it's slightly better but the game is still the same. We all agreed that playing the game solo would be boring as hell.
The Division was one of my favorite games and still is one of them to this day. I played the division at launch of March 2016. Now I had stopped playing this game at first in 2018 because the game started dying out and devs wasn’t really doing things right to the game. 1.8 is what had ruined div 1. I had then played the game again in 2019 because division 2 is honestly ass and still is. Div 2 movement was bad. PvP did not exist what so ever and farming for good loot was hard. Div 2 did not have the potential and relevancy that Div 1 had. Div 2 had no pvp what so ever. Everything that Div 1 had was just not the same as Div 2 which is why I stopped playing it and went back to Div 1. Early 2020 I stopped playing Div 1 again and just deleted my characters because the game got boring every once and a while but Div 1 was still a good game. Now right now as of Nov 2020 I have not touched Div 1 and I do not plan on touching it but I am still debating whether I should try to come back to this game because it was fun in my eyes. Div 2 was just a complete failure. In the near future I hope that if there’s a division 3 I hope that it’ll be good as div 1 because div 1 had the most potential ever. But in my opinion Div 1 can still be a fun game to play in 2020 and in 2021.
My buddy got me to play Div 1 when it was on sale to see if i would be interested in getting Division 2. I bought Division 1 and played til Div 2 dropped. Fell in love pretty quick. Just more well-rounded. When I got Division 2 I was impressed with the scenery and movement fluidity. But the drops and god rolls are non existent. Didn't get my fist exotic drop (chatterbox) till over 300 hours was invested. In Div 1 i'm not even 30 hours deep and I've already received 2 exotics.. and I can't even use them cuz i'm a level 27.. And my friend told me when Div 1 dropped it was a completely different game when it came to crafting and building. Imagine my surprise when Ubisoft did the same exact thing to Div 2.. *note* The Devs did start this thing when they launched WoNY for weekly challenges that just consists of donating materials you find all over the world (components, water, fabrics, etc stuff like that. and they will give you one exotic item per week doing this. For obvious reasons i stopped playing when WoNY expansion dropped..
Haha I am playing it right now. Your review is fair enough and I feel the same. The level system is ridiculous that I can`t even hurt a high-level enemy with full mag of heavy machine gun?! Though, the graphic details impress me (even better than the latest new Ubi games)
I'm not that picky with games, so I had plenty of fun with this. Sure, the campaign isn't something to write home about, but those were some enjoyable 23 hours total. I'd give it an 8/10, specially since I got it for free.
This guy most likely didn't even play much of the end game content. DZ PVP, Survival, making new builds, etc. Game is AMAZING! Almost 5 years later and I am still playing it on PC.
Divisions 1 opening cutscene is just 2020 spot on and even had some of my family nearby questioning if it was fr or not for a minute, doesn't help that it's around black Friday 👀 lmaoooo started with Div2 and loved it but even really like Div1 atm.
@@masterassassin791 why did you say the movement was terrible? Did you take coverbase shooter literally? The movement is actually advanced but ik your a pve nooby who takes cover for every fight😂 try pvp where the game really shines😴
I just bought it month ago, less than 10 $. Its good game but I see your point(s) . It is still worth for the money because quite many people actually still play it online, at least I have found other players to play with and it's fun.
Just watched this video and although I totally disagree with your opinon on the game I still really like the video so I have subscribed and liked. I believe the reason why you didn't find it that good because from what you spoke on I believe you haven't played any of the raids which are in my opinon one of the best parts along with the dark zone. Another thing I felt you didn't acknowledge was the gear sets however you did put customization as a pro so that's all good👍🏻
legend has it that he still likes these comments... I have encountered 3 very game breaking bugs 1. Some parts of the map dont load, and you sort of get blockaded from that area (that can lead to death if there are enemies behind you and you cant run away) 2. When you spin around, sometimes the lighting gets really wacky and so when facing a certain direction, lighting is normal but then you turn like 90 degrees and its pitch black. 3. (the most game breaking) Some enemies just dont spawn but they have this dot on the ground and can move. So what this means is that you cant shoot them, you know where their supposed to be and the enemy can still move and shoot normally even if you cant see them or shoot them.
In division I prefer to play survivor mode because thats the best DLC you will ever find! The only problem is that you dont have that much PVP now like in the beggining, but it's still be enjoyable. I hope that people will decide to buy the survivor DLC and going to play with it. Once you experience the survivor mode you won't stop to play it.
Got the game free with games with gold on the Xbox last year, loved it so much after 20 hours that I bought the DLC season pass when it went on sale for $8 Probably the most bang for my buck I got from a game last year. Over 50 hours in and still have so much more to do. It's too bad the Xbox Community is a little bit on the small side. Nowadays it's hard to find groups to do some of the content, but still possible during peak times on weekends.
As someone who considers this as my favorite game, you should get this game if you are willing to stick through 20-30 hours of complete boredem. The beginning of the game is pretty ass but once you get to the endgame it is a whole other animal, especially if you have friends playing.
Bought the game at full price the week it was launched and never regretted it for a moment. Most of my friends have been playing since the beta. Division 1 is a hundred times better than Division 2. You just can’t beat how great the atmosphere is in the dz and how intense it is when going rogue or when farming. Survival, Last Stand, and Skirmish are absolute gems as pvp modes and it makes the endgame that much more fun. I still log on to check out the dz every now and then....and the game is still super fun. Division 1 is truly a one of a kind and it’s sad that the devs abandoned it but the fact that so many people are still playing it to this day speaks volumes (and wish the same devs who created the d1 dark zone worked on Div 2). I understand about the repetitiveness and abandoning good weapons but that’s the nature of a looter shooter....it’s all about the grind to the endgame. The story isn’t that great also but it makes up for it with the endgame activities. If you are new to this game, I feel that 10 to 15 bucks is reasonable since it isn’t as popular as it used to be but one solid play through of Survival should be enough to squash any doubts about this game (hint: it’s worth it). 👍
Very nice review man! I played it at the release, finished it and loved the dark zone (when it was still very active). I loved the setting of the game and the story, and i do agree with some of the points you make. For people who still want to try it, it's 75% off on the PlayStation store at the moment!
I disagree with a lot of not most of this video. Movement was fine if not great. Guns were interesting to swap out. Story and atmosphere was amazing the plot and back story and lore was so immersive
Bought it for £9.99 this month (a special edition). I’ve already played The Division 2 for hours upon hours & I think it would be criminal not to play the original, perhaps treat it as a prequel 😂
D1 was absolutely fantastic. Had so much fun playing this game. Had almost 1300 hours in this game. Was hyped about D2. But unfortunatly it wasnt as fun as D1. After only 85 hours i stopped playing D2.
I agree the dark zone carrys the game I play it when it first came out it's really fun if you have a squad and go out to fight other players but the DLC are boring and the cpu are just dumb over it's a good game if you want to get some cool loot and fight people
i love when MA actually tell you if you should buy it or not cuz almost every "should you buy" video ends up with "personal opinion" or "yeah why not just buy it".
Division is a service game , like you said , this game was made having co-op in mind and its a fun co-op shooter but its 30 bucks which is not worth it . Just compair ghost recon wildlands ( which is not 30 bucks ) to the division and you will get my point ( ghosts recon wildlands and the division . That's a good comparision.)
It’s sad that I can’t form a group in this game anymore. It looks dead but still playable but it gets really really boring because not a lot of online gamers to play with.
I disagree, the game should get a 6/10 at the lowest. I got the game and played solo for a bit, not gonna lie with the movement and ai you were right but the main missions are not repetitive. Each faction behaves very differently and its usually pretty different per mission. When it comes to guns, yes below level 30 you switch guns a lot, but after level 30 when builds really come into play guns are very diverse and have a big impact on the game PVP and PVE. Story is non existant...??? when i played through it felt immersive and fun, idk how you got that conclusion. As for co op, the game is way more fun co op but it can be fun in single player. There's always a side mission to do, HVT, darkzone, undergound, survival etc. The game can feel like a grind- yes but thats only if you want to grind, once you get level 30 and get a gearscore of roughly 275-285 you can hold your own in most scenarios except darkzone pvp but thats from my experience normally I only have issues when there are 4 man rogue squads or rogues with 10k builds like striker, nomad etc. I give the game a 6-7/10 single player, 8 with co op.
You can tell this guy needs a story based game where he fights a boss at the end an wins. Bro you are the protagonist that’s why it’s mute and Arron keener is the man you are hunting down kinda like a murder mystery not every game is a story with a happy ending that’s what makes this game so good tho it blends perfectly into d2
The review is a bit negative. It might be repetitive but many great games that ppl love like other arpgs have the same elements as this. This is in my opinion probably one of the best looters shooters. The review hardly talks about the skill/perk and talent customization that changes your play style. Any game can seem dull if you describe it so basic and negative. This reviews misrepresented and left out a fair bit of what the game offers.
You should definitely still buy this game, it goes hard it's a fun looter shooter the thrill of the dark zone is something else. A few years could pass and it'd still be a solid game.
With the crafting and modding you can kinda upgrade your weapons I liked the division and the second one I’d deff play it again it was fun online I hope they make a 3rd one

I feel but honestly they ghost of Tsushima stole the spotlight and tbh kinda hard for a greedy company like Ubisoft to compete with the quality of ghost of Tsushima I see it as the assassins creed we never got which is a good thing
- Repetitive mission structure, but fun even after 10hrs of playing (in my opinion) - Gunplay that is well made, but it becames boring upon finishing the game - Good movement - AI can sometimes fuck you in every hole, but sometimes they are so stupid. - **idk english well so i can't answer on tedious traversal, idek what it means** - It feels like grind. **and all pros are right**

I would love to see this game without these levels of enemies and guns you pick up, and with the only offline mode for the whole game as for dark zone, so you are alone with NPC at the bases, and you don't see other players changing guns or any of these things.
I use Davinci Resolve 16. Probably my biggest tip is that if you really want to start a channel you need to stick with it. Don’t make a channel expecting to instantly find success, it’s a long process and if you don’t give up and stick with it will pan out greatly.
I feel like the immersion and feel of this game was done amazingly with the setting and style of it being so unique and cool, but in terms of the actual missions and gunplay etc it wasn’t good 😂
Most games are repetitive. Nothing bad about it though. It's always in the limit of the game engine they're using. Division games are an online game so i think adding a character personality is more confusing as so many players are in the game. But if they can, then yeah, it'd feel livelier. I just started playing the game on my ps4. It's fun. My goal for it is to finish all the missions and getting to a good level. And hope to play with someone.
Don’t listen to this guy. He’s clearly hating on this game. It’s such an amazing game story and combat wise. Play it for yourself see and you’ll see this review is bogus.

Maybe it’s just nostalgia but I still love it
That’s completely fair I’m glad you enjoy the game and thank you for being respectful. I appreciate it
Game came out in 2016 but you've played it for 5 years lol
@@ricko2301 early testing of the game came in 2015 and I played a bit of it
Although it was no real game progress I would add it as another year since the alpha was technically a year before full release
Repetition is part of gaming in general.
an old one. Definitely one of the biggest one of ubisoft's graphic change examples. Still a good game in my eyes.
Graphics are pretty great, 2016 was the year their graphics really improved like with Watchdogs 2 and not too far after, Ghost Recon Wildlands.
As soon as winter starts to arrive I can't help but gravitate back to the first game, the atmosphere of NYC is just amazing!
I really just love this guy's Content
I really just love this comment
Very grindy but probably still worth a playthrough..if it comes to game pass
Agreed
It’s worth a playthrough even at $30 dude
At one stage it was free on Xbox gold:)
I love how honest this guy is
Thank you good sir
Lots of nostalgia on this one. Almost 90 hours of game time since launch stop playing around 2 to 3 months later. Love the atmosphere and style of this game but riding solo got hard real quick. Hopefully they do a full rebuild of the game and fix the cons you mentioned and keep solo players in mind, for the next game or even a whole new ip 🤷🏼♂️. Would be top tier for sure. 💯
Corrections:
You can level up guns using the Optimization Station
You get new abilities and perks by upgrading the home base
The Dark Zone is where it's at honestly the story is there to set up for DIV2
Fast travel is available to safe houses
True
This is actually one of my favorite channel. Keep up the AMAZING content 🥴❤️
Thank you! And will do man, I appreciate the kind words
I played through the whole game with a 4 man group, I agree with everything you said and would probably give it a 5/10.
With friends, it's slightly better but the game is still the same. We all agreed that playing the game solo would be boring as hell.
Agreed. And thank you for sharing your opinion
Wait till he finds out about banshee and striker
No
Don't think he will considering he never brings up endgame in this review.
The division will always be the best looter shooter out there, yes it had its issues but nothing like the division 2 which was complete trash.
I never thought you would review this game but that’s beside the point I will give the fame a 5/10
I mean to put it
Just started this game in 2020 for the first time. Its an awsome game.
Glad you’re enjoying it!
I don't think a 4/10 is fair, its a great game, with some minor problems that you've covered. It just totally dominated my May of 2021
i just ordered this game for 83 cents at gamestop, i’ve been meaning to replay this for years
The Tom Clancy game too buy in 2020 is ghost recon wildlands, one of the best, should make a video on it if you’ve any opinion
Already have a couple months ago lol but I totally agree
Great honest and true review...i agree 100% glad your channel is growing...best of luck

Story for first play is realy good. If it in sale take it. Wont let you down.
The cover system in division is on point. Dont know how you get always to the wrobg cover
This guy most likely didn't even play much of the end game content. DZ PVP, Survival, making new builds, etc. Game is AMAZING! Almost 5 years later and I am still playing it on PC.
Exactly and who tf complains about melle in a game set like the division the movement is smooth to what is this guy on
Divisions 1 opening cutscene is just 2020 spot on and even had some of my family nearby questioning if it was fr or not for a minute, doesn't help that it's around black Friday 👀 lmaoooo started with Div2 and loved it but even really like Div1 atm.
That’s hilarious😂
I just play because of the setting. Love the snow.

Just watched this video and although I totally disagree with your opinon on the game I still really like the video so I have subscribed and liked. I believe the reason why you didn't find it that good because from what you spoke on I believe you haven't played any of the raids which are in my opinon one of the best parts along with the dark zone. Another thing I felt you didn't acknowledge was the gear sets however you did put customization as a pro so that's all good👍🏻
That's perfectly fine and I respect your opinion. Thank you for disagreeing respectfully I really appreciate that!
@@masterassassin791 you're welcome keep up the good work👍🏻
legend has it that he still likes these comments...
I have encountered 3 very game breaking bugs
1. Some parts of the map dont load, and you sort of get blockaded from that area (that can lead to death if there are enemies behind you and you cant run away)
The Division is my Guns blazing side
While Ghost Recon is my Stealth
So I dont really get bored of it
That’s awesome lol
Very nice review man! I played it at the release, finished it and loved the dark zone (when it was still very active). I loved the setting of the game and the story, and i do agree with some of the points you make. For people who still want to try it, it's 75% off on the PlayStation store at the moment!
Thank you! And I too really enjoyed the dark zone and setting. For 75% off that’s a great deal!
you are totally correct, if you don't have any goals.
gameplay was a bit wonky but the world building and general atmosphere of the game is really unique and underappreciated imo
I disagree with a lot of not most of this video. Movement was fine if not great. Guns were interesting to swap out. Story and atmosphere was amazing the plot and back story and lore was so immersive
One we always recommend both games are stellar, was fun to see your thoughts on it.
I got it for free so yeah, it's totally worth it
Bought it for £9.99 this month (a special edition).
I just started it 4 weeks ago…best game I’ve played!
Haven't played this one, but I really liked the Division 2, until I explored all locations. Then the grind started and it became boring pretty fast.
i played Skyrim over 600 hours. i don't give a damn about a mute protagonist. to me, a mute protagonist just means you're playing as you.
I agree the dark zone carrys the game I play it when it first came out it's really fun if you have a squad and go out to fight other players but the DLC are boring and the cpu are just dumb over it's a good game if you want to get some cool loot and fight people
Agreed
Ubisoft gave if for free around the time this video was released.
Best game all time takes skill for pvp and gotta know how to build
So true
i bought it second hand for console a few weeks back. best 5 euro's i've spend in a while. I liked the game despite the cons.
i love when MA actually tell you if you should buy it or not cuz almost every "should you buy" video ends up with "personal opinion" or "yeah why not just buy it".
This comment sums it up perfectly. Thank you
Maybe just me, i like the 1st division compared to its sequel, perhaps because the second one is not exactly different except the skill progression
Have not played the second one yet but I heard it’s not a great game either. Thank you for sharing your opinion

Fair enough
This is pretty random but here’s some gameplay from Xbox servers ua-cam.com/video/amU9UhEsppo/v-deo.html
It’s sad that I can’t form a group in this game anymore. It looks dead but still playable but it gets really really boring because not a lot of online gamers to play with.
The dark zone is LIT asf 🔥pvp is insane
You make some fair points even if I disagree, I still respect your opinion.
I recently got in on ps store, the gold edition, was on sale. Gotta say, I don’t regret buying it
You can tell this guy needs a story based game where he fights a boss at the end an wins.
Bro you are the protagonist that’s why it’s mute and Arron keener is the man you are hunting down kinda like a murder mystery not every game is a story with a happy ending that’s what makes this game so good tho it blends perfectly into d2
Amazing video as always!
Keep up the good work
Thank you much appreciated!
The question is will people play this when ps5 comes out ??
Good question
It's 25.00 gbp on the ps5 in the uk 😆 I got it for less than 5gbp on ps4
The review is a bit negative. It might be repetitive but many great games that ppl love like other arpgs have the same elements as this. This is in my opinion probably one of the best looters shooters. The review hardly talks about the skill/perk and talent customization that changes your play style. Any game can seem dull if you describe it so basic and negative. This reviews misrepresented and left out a fair bit of what the game offers.
Finally, you uploaded a video this took longer than it usually takes you.
You should definitely still buy this game, it goes hard it's a fun looter shooter the thrill of the dark zone is something else. A few years could pass and it'd still be a solid game.
Yo, should do a video on the next ghost recon game and what you think. Also, I'm still watching your videos daily. Still love you man.
Great idea and thank you man that means a lot💯
With the crafting and modding you can kinda upgrade your weapons I liked the division and the second one I’d deff play it again it was fun online I hope they make a 3rd one

They should make Assassins Creed video games for Japan and India. I really wanna see
Assassin’s Creed India as an official Assassin’s Creed game. I know AC chronicles did this but it absolutely sucked. So I think the
AC India game could be set in Delhi Sultanate or the Mughal times.
I feel but honestly they ghost of Tsushima stole the spotlight and tbh kinda hard for a greedy company like Ubisoft to compete with the quality of ghost of Tsushima I see it as the assassins creed we never got which is a good thing
It’s perfect. It’s 2019-2021 themed.
- Repetitive mission structure, but fun even after 10hrs of playing (in my opinion)
- Gunplay that is well made, but it becames boring upon finishing the game
- Good movement
- AI can sometimes fuck you in every hole, but sometimes they are so stupid.
- **idk english well so i can't answer on tedious traversal, idek what it means**
- It feels like grind.
**and all pros are right**
Love this game lol played it non stop for atleast a year and a half it was so fun I got my character maxed out and stopped playing around summer 2019 as it was getting repetitive but I've just downloaded it again and imma play it over 500 hours played and the lms dlc can't wait
I would love to see this game without these levels of enemies and guns you pick up, and with the only offline mode for the whole game as for dark zone, so you are alone with NPC at the bases, and you don't see other players changing guns or any of these things.
I have question master assassin which editing software do you use and what’s your tips for new UA-camrs?
I use Davinci Resolve 16. Probably my biggest tip is that if you really want to start a channel you need to stick with it. Don’t make a channel expecting to instantly find success, it’s a long process and if you don’t give up and stick with it will pan out greatly.
You can upgrade (optimize) and reroll your gears in the main hub or the WDP safe house.
I've never seen @MasterAssassin be so angry lmaoo
Don’t listen to this guy. He’s clearly hating on this game. It’s such an amazing game story and combat wise. Play it for yourself see and you’ll see this review is bogus.
