Jody Kruskal uses found objects gleaned from the streets of Brooklyn to assemble his marching band of styro-harps. Metal racks are rescued from discarded furniture, shelving and kitchen appliances. Styrofoam boxtops amplify the rack vibrations to create an etherial wash of random pitches and rhythmic grooves. Harmonic whistles, blowing toys and bicycle horns provide a lyrical voice to complement the mysterious musical mayhem. Recycled urban detritus finds a new life in experimental musical improvisation.
