Some people may see the food in this video and wonder why I am only eating noodles and dumplings. The reason is that, this is the only store bought/restaurant food I can give Ivan as it is easy to digest and has veggies and meat for protein and it is non spicy as well. Unfortunately I couldn’t cook baby food when I just came to Shanghai as Ivan would run towards the staircase whenever I was in kitchen for more than 2 minutes . But I did manage to cook at home somehow later on.

Wow Madam Ruchi, you look so gorgeous in that furry coat! Good stay in Shanghai and good journey back to Guangzhou. I lived in Guangzhou for many years but I always admire Shanghainese for their city and quality of life. Since I moved to Europe, I miss Guangzhou a lot but still think Shanghai a lot better now. I was also in Mumbai, everywhere including Bollywood in 2007.

You might consider to hire a helper (ayi) to support your daily house chores, there are hourly based ones pretty affordable and you can spend more time with Ivan.
No matter how expensive a villa is in Shanghai, people living in it still hang their clothes out in the courtyard. They like to dry clothes with sun light, not electric dryer.
Jin Kuang： I prefer air dry as well having been living in US for many yrs, although I just hang drying in house. It's especially for shirts and pants: if you don't pick up from dryer in time, they would look stupid. I don't have time to iron those things. American way of life creates too many unnecessary waste of things.

That house if. in suburb of Shanghai cost 50 million yuan , life in Shanghai is tired everyone want to make more money , live in little city or countryside is better without more pressure . By the way I really want to travel India one day, the culture of India is interesting.
Unlike northern China, Shanghai has no heating systems installed in most houses. Shanghai is at middle between northern and southern. So in winter even only few days really cold, but you do need to wear coat inside all the time. For small apartments, your AC systems shall have heat option allowing you to have heat, but for house like this you do need heating system to be installed like northern China. Otherwise you need to wear coat inside. 😢
No heating and it was even colder inside than outside. I and Ivan kind of got used to living at subzero temperatures for 10 days during the daytime. Luckily we didn’t get sick

We did buy it . It was really good. But really annoying to put on layers every-time we went out if the room. I guess we have to adjust
