The paints I used today:
Soho Urban Artist Mineral Blue
Anita's Metallic Pearl Blue
Custom Luscious Gold
Dazzling Metallics Peacock Pearl mixed with The Fine Touch Phthalo Turquoise
Anita's Metallic Lace - base
My paints are mixed with my pouring medium, which is 50% Liquitex pouring medium, 40% Floetrol, 5% Golden GAC800 and 5% water.
No silicone was added.

It's bloody gorgeous!! These colors are wonderful! I was looking at your list of supplies and I saw the lazy susan/turntable....I have one but how do you keep the canvas from flying off??!! Thank you and love being in your group! Regards from Kentucky!
Thank you so much Laryn! I use silicone mats on the top of my spinner. It's a little grippy so it helps keep the canvas from flying off. I don't spin mine super crazy either. If you want to spin a bit faster, try double sided tape.

I love your painting. I've been doing ring pours as my first paintings and since I've seen ribbon pours, I'm going to give it a try. Are your paints on the thick side or in between?
Thank you. My paints are a bit in the thicker side. It helps with the definition of lines.

Hey Tracie! I just got some Soho mineral blue, with you as my inspiration for that, and it’s not quite as deep blue, after I’ve mixed it. Can you share your ratio? Im thinking I added too much PM, even though my other Soho colors seemed to keep their color at that ratio 🤔 Thank you!
Hi Darcy. I usually mix it 1 part paint to 2- 2 1/2 parts pouring medium, depending on what technique you are doing.
@@TracieReed thanks so much!!! That’s generally my formula for most paints, but I’ve seen folks say they go up to 6 or 8 parts medium with Soho. While 6 worked for 2 other colors, it was not working for mineral blue. I’m so glad I asked, back to the mixing station!!!
