This is such an underrated band and song. I grew up on Travis in Scotland, they were pretty big - why does it always rain on me is probably their biggest song, and I still listen regularly.
I remember this song...thank you Chad. Music does teach us many things.

I sure was surprised to see a reaction from you, as it’s been awhile since you’ve done one on a Wednesday! I've never even heard of this song or artist before. But, it's about something very serious and important that everyone should be aware of. I've been very fortunate to have been born into a loving, Christian family where I've never had to deal with domestic violence. I don't know anybody who has had to deal with it, but I still know that, unfortunately, there are so many people in the world who have had and continue to have to. And, it's a really terrible and horrific thing. So, good for you for featuring this on your channel, even though it's not what your channel stands for, and for letting us know that you take it very seriously and realize the terrible horrificness (I guess, I made up that word) of it and that it happens to so many people all over the world! It was really a horrific thing to watch.

Thanks Chad for your deep heartfelt reaction. Beside Radiohead, Travis was one of my favourite bands from late 1990 to 2010. Bought their second album and at once was bewitched by all of its tracks. I couldn’t help but listen to several songs twice. Get their third and sixt albums also. Was never disappointed : melodies, renditions and orchestration are huge.
I've never been in a relationship like this but it hurts knowing there are those that do, heartbreaking. Thank you Chad.
