Love the way this is filmed and presented. Just climbimg, not bombastic music, no voice overs, just the honest climbing. And Corinne is fantastic, what a superhero 🦸🏽♀️
Honestly haven't been climbing for the last 1½ years due to injury and extremely low motivation, but Corinnes pure adrenaline and joy in this seeing the reward of pushing through something that is scary inspired and motivated me today. I'm definetly going climbing this weekend!
My anxiety was skyrocketting each time she went into these chimney on the dam oh my gosh this is some next level of bravery, insane how strong and composed she remains ! Very inspiring Cori !
Amazing courage Cori and you are such a fast learner, plus you have incredible conditioning, strength, stamina and determination!! Looking forward to the next challenge you will be tackling! Great video! Thanks for sharing it!! 👍🏻💪👏🏻🥰
Cori's performance really impresses me. She is so brave and strong, and she smiles until the end. I love the video idea. Have I heard "Berlin Bridge" correctly? I thought I spotted Tom in my local gym, Bouldergarten, not too long ago 🤔
Cori seems like a great time! Contageous energy. As someone who doesn't do much lead climbing, can someone explain why she 'tags' quickdraws before clipping? Is she checking she can reach/hold tension before comitting to the clip? E.g. 33:06
@7:05 what is that belay technique called? Can't remember the name but I think I remember seeing it somewhere... Maybe in the list of "do not do this" graphics in the grigri manual? Noticed something similar in the video you guys put out of you climbing the main crack feature on this wall. What you do when cragging out just you and your partner is none of my business, but maybe a good idea to display good technique when posting content that will be seen by a huge percentage of the climbing community around the world. Just my two cents...
Based on how strong she seems and her face climbing technique and her aptitude for quickly learning movement, I'd guess she can redpoint at least 5.12, probably more like 5.13-.
It depends on the level/height which you insert and also the depth of the crack. Our Global Crack School course (which is released early next year), goes into all these details
07:13 OH MY GOOD CAN YOU PLEASE USE THE GRIGRI PROPPERLY Thats Ondra-level belaying. No hand on the brakestrand, just holding the Grigri open. That is ENTIRELY unsafe. Dont do that ESPECIALLY not if you are in a position of authority, which you are. I usually love your videos, but that is REALLY bad
He's holding the brake strand between the index and middle fingers of his left hand mate. It doesn't take much to get it to lock, any bend in the brake strand is enough. People get so worked about hardiseasy's videos. Gotta realize he spent hours very intentionally getting the thing to fail. He determined 120 grams of pressure is enough on the brake strand to lock it. The brake rope from the grigri to the ground is 80 grams, so you only need 40 grams of pressure from your brake hand. Take out a scale. That's an extremely, extremely small weight. It's really difficult to get it to fail. You have to death grip the cam and not touch the brake strand in any way.

Learning to crack climb at the top of a dam is absolutely mental! Great stuff to both Wide Boys and Cori

Cori ist just different. Love to see the collab with the Boyz.
No one is talking about the guy at 9:41 - his face realising he was in a video had me dying
I think the guy won't be happy if he sees this comment
That's just tough. mad respect
Hey I wanted to hear those clipping and foot position tips!
Haha exactly what I was thinking...gotta sub to the crack school I guess!
@@geometerfpv2804 Except that was for slopers.
Cori making epic gains!!
34:20 was indeed impressive!
That was awesome
Yeah, right! I'm like: "Wow! Girl got moves!" 💪
Love Cori! This was fun to watch!
Cori is absolute perfection in all aspects
My ears were perking up for the clipping advice on the slopers, but then the sound faded out. 😆

Professional stuntwoman: "The nerves are coming out as giggles, I think.🤭"
Me: "I think I just sh*t my pants.😐"
34:00, that echo
Cori's amazing & one great climber, especially for a beginner crack climber, that was brilliant
I got so sweaty hands while watching, incredibly good!
why did you cut out the clipping position on sloppers part? I need that advice badly 😓
A nice collab I didn`t expect. It was a pleasure to watch! Did Cori also make any kind of video on her channel with you?
That is extremely impressive ...
20:19 Such a fun shot.
She was incredible! You should bring her to do some crack on real rock!
Pfff, wauw, tough girl! Hats off
Great video
24:09 shots fired at Jakob lol didn't he and Jessy win the event? 😂
You got Corinne? Respect! =D
Found myself giving encouragement as if I was there
Lets learn how to do this thing half a mile into the air --- never change guys.
How accomplished a climber is Cori : what was her climbing level (in "normal" non crack climbing) in the first place ?
Based on how strong she seems and her face climbing technique and her aptitude for quickly learning movement, I'd guess she can redpoint at least 5.12, probably more like 5.13-.
She had climbed up to 5.12b in face. And 5.9 crack before we met her.
badass!
Comment cuz cori rocks.
soo... you always put the hand/thumb alonge the direction of the crack - not parallel to it? and omfg how good is she...
It depends on the level/height which you insert and also the depth of the crack. Our Global Crack School course (which is released early next year), goes into all these details
awesome
😍😍😍
But she has loads of technique! She is a confident climber. Minute 7

🔥💪👊😍
WOW
You should get Gracie Kramer next.
She was originally invited but didn't want to climb on the Dam I don't think...
@@WideBoyzI’m sure you can find something fun for her to do.
