Indeed, it's noise pollution. If I want to listen to music, I'll do that instead. I want to concentrate on the (always great and within the field original) information, yet now I have to mentally filter out the annoying muzak. However much I love Merriam Style, she'd lose me quickly. I believe UA-cam academy pushes this, suggesting it ups your production value (news flash: it actually downgrades it) - but it's essentially a scheme to sell music from their catalog to creators. Quite a few of us like Merriam for her unintended ASMR - which is also spoilt this way. Please Merriam, I understand your wish to try new things out, but let this one go? It seems it makes you talk much faster (too fast) as well :/
I always love listening to your videos, not just because of the content, , but because of the quiet & low-key tone of your voice. In this one, though, I found the music distracting.
over the years I've replaced all my acrylic sweaters with thrifted wool and cashmere: so much warmer and more comfortable! I have one synthetic tech thermal shirt left and I hate wearing it because of how sweaty it make me feel -- I find wool to be much more breathable
Hey it’s me in the first photo 😅 I must tell you that I have actually gotten rid of all those gray items already and just because they really do look and felt totally overwhelming on me 😂
My in-laws got my daughter an alpaca Zip up sweater years ago, as well as myself, at a place in Las Vegas. The material was and is super itchy and not really soft, so we didn't wear it. Reading that it's supposed to be soft leads me to believe that we could have bought a knock of. My sweater alone was $99. Any chance it was a knock off?
Question please in your system you focus in hue and chroma but i notice that you don't speak about value for example a cool and bright type can wear light and dark colours in the same way !Thanks
Thank you for your question. I do recommend that people with darker features generally wear darker colors, I don't focus on it in my videos because it's not a focal point of the system and is kind of self explanatory. For example someone very light would wear light colors in their color family. Sometimes the body type does alter the recommendations, though.
Girl i love your content, do you do personal report for guys? I dont see anybody doing it, only for girls. Sending love from Prague Czech republic.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Merriam, if it is our day to receive our Full Report, with the professional booking through your website, is there a time frame that the Full Report comes in?
Actually those look really good next to you in the thumbnail. The lady in the red top is also beautiful although I’d like to see her hair in a French twist. Maybe being on the conservative side is a ‘necessary evil’ that comes with a keen eye for detail. ❤
The point about synthetic fibres being ineffective at keeping you warm is incorrect. If you look into how people working in Antarctica or climbing Everest dress, they rely on high tech synthetic fibres to provide immense warmth through clothes that are light and dry quickly. Specialist applications aside, there are a lot of good quality options made of synthetic fibres as well. In my country, the sporting chain Decathlon sells poly fleece tops and bottoms made of recycled pet bottles at very affordable prices. Many people are also allergic to animal fibres. Additionally, it is not always possible to determine if the fibre in question was obtained without hurting or harming the animal, which some people care about. Both types of fibres have their pros and cons; adding this comment since this video focuses on the negatives of synthetics and positives of animal fibres.
@katitadeb Hi, depending on where in the world you live, there may be affordable options available. I gave an example in my original comment as well. Quality animal fibres are almost always more expensive where I come from; this may not be the case in all parts of the world, of course.
Coming from a person who lives in a place with cold brutal winters, I agree with this. I do brisk walking in the winter and synthetic fibers wick away sweat and prevent freezing. Wool retains moisture and feels cold when I'm sweating. No one wants to be freezing from sweat when briskly walking to catch the bus and then getting off the bus to go right back outside to briskly walk to the next destination.
@@katitadeb I only shop secondhand at charity thrift stores. Where I live, I always find synthetic clothing made for cold weather by quality brands. This is coming from an average person who lives in an average city with brutal winters.
I’m vegan but for some people animal fibers are just a better option. Be it price or accessibility for where they live. Most synthetic fibers sold in store just won’t cut it compared to animal fiber. So, for most people animal fibers are just a better option. And if someone has an issue in cold climates with animal fibers they probably aren’t layering properly. Living in a cold climate is brutal, we shouldn’t judge people so hard.
I prefer no background music. Love listening to you.
Yes - very distracting for a great informative video . Other videos of this type do not have background music.

Merriam is keeping us fed lately 🥰
You could do Christmas jumpers for the different types 😊
I already try to follow most of these tips but it's nice to have a reminder

Me too. And it's so cheap second hand. And 100% wool.

Wool saved my life traveling from Taiwan to Germany.
Love all of these helpful ideas! Perfect for winter!
I do love cachemire…found second hand 🎉
Was just searching for a video like this yesterday ❤ your tips are always so amazing

@merriamstyle 🌹🌹 thank you merriam 🌹
Hi Merriam, please consider turning down the music (or the treble) if you want music in your videos. You talk so softly, even for this kind of music

aw thank you! I actually do type men as well (color, body typing, and essence). You can book through the website as anyone else would.
V ČR pokud vím tak s tím zatím nikdo nedělá, max barevnou typologii (já jsem si na ni udělala výlet do Brna). Chlapi to mají ještě těžší, držím palce
thank you for this
No background music please

It comes in by end of day. I believe I sent yours through about 20 minutes ago!
@merriamstyle I received it. Thanks.

The thing is average people do not have access or can't afford high tech/quality synthetic fiber, it's a business after all
