- Basically I'm taliking about whY Milo is a better choice and why rain water plays a very important part of this program. I also talk about your lawn care customers and what height to now at.

I can’t smell the Milo while it’s on the lawn, but I can surely smell it in my garage. I wonder if putting it in covered containers would help?
I’ve put mine under a wrapped tarp out side to experiment and it seemed to work but it also attracted a lot of flies.🤷🏾♂️
My Yard gets areate today and as soon as they are done I'm putting milorganite down
Awesome, don’t forget to water 💦 it in for faster results 👍🏾
Beautiful lawn! Keep up with the awesome videos
I just put some down last week and we have been getting intermittent rain! I’m loving it! I haven’t noticed the bad smell that I heard so many people mention.
Yep I learn my lesson from last year. I didn't know, I kept the grass 3 to 4 inches. Then around in July it started going bad, brown at the bottom like you said. Starting getting diseases and fungus. I'm on top of it this year I already been cutting at 1 inch and 2 times a week. This house in my neighborhood keep theirs at 5 inches and it was so brown at the bottom last year, ridiculous. Once the summertime comes it ain't gonna last.
Rain smells like Amazon water
Just a little mercury with the rain.
Wassup byd! I have the ky bluegrass/fescue. I cut it at 4-5 everytime, is that too high? Or is what u saying only pertain to bermuda?
Preston Clark Bermuda no more than 3, but with your grass I’d do 3 if it’s being use for Family Time, once you go to 4 or 5 it’s showcase Lawn 😀👍🏾
Thanks for the info on the videos. I have 8 Bermuda lawns I maintain along with others and half of them like it at 5 inches. So when I scalped it this past year I just took off half and they have it treated so I understand that most say cut it low and weekly but they insist for biweekly service.
Seems like a perfect day to me
Super Nice! TY
This video makes me laugh out loud! love it!
Sammy gardea thanks 😂
I had a bag of that break over my head once.....twenty something years ago and people are still calling me a sh*thead. Talk about lasting effects of Milorganite. I don't know much about that southern grass, but it appears with the peaks and valleys, your grass is not growing evenly-therefor you must be using other inorganic fertilizer.???
BYD I'm thinking of investing in a sprinkler system. Do you have a sprinkler person you could recommend? ...... I need to start with an estimate.
nah, sorry i dont
They have new Pop Up's that Cover over 25 Ft out.. Some 35 '.. So you need less Pop Ups and Get a Water Mixer for it..so you can add Amonia( Like rain water) and Adding alittle Dishsoap, 1/2 can of beer mixed in with your water..
Cut the grass, no shorter than 3 inches.. If that's every Other Wk? that's it then.. If hiring a Landscaper? you Cut only down to 3" and EOWk..
Very informative. I’m subbed. 👍🏻
Looks great. How long does it take to start seeing result with milorganite? I just put some down.
Joseph J just gonna depend on weather, if your getting lots of rain then roughly 6-8 weeks. But understand this is a long term plan so results may vary. Did you aerate, like ryte?, if not I'd suggest that also.
No, I didn't aerate it but thank you for the info and knowledge.
It's true that nothing smells quite like Milorganite. It's great stuff. Just double cut my Bermuda. Hopefully we get some more rain this weekend. ua-cam.com/video/1T8RtuIcBgs/v-deo.html
One month later grass looks beautiful except i have one problem jealous neighbors bring their dogs in my yard to poop and tears the grass up i am really piss something is about to happen to somebody dog if i catches them that stuff really do works
Warren Thompson had the same problem last season ua-cam.com/video/vCf41tgoD3M/v-deo.html
It's funny how everyone loves Milorganite and it's actually the waste of Milwaukee's public. LMAO. I also use it. Most be the barley and hopps
Johnny .Bravo you are right, lol 😂
Looking good!
+Kurt Zeman thanks! I'm putting in a lot of work for you guys.
Cut your grass higher and overseed and your grass will get even greener and thicker
Duke Montgomery bermuda should be cut low not high
USE "IRONITE" WHICH ADDS COLOR,BUT DOESN'T INCREASE GROWTH RATE OF YOUR LAWN. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO ADD TOO MUCH OR IT WILL TURN YOUR GRASS BLACK/GREY LOOKING.
Nice neighborhood. You rich?
PC not at all, I wish I wash though
So, so many points I beg to differ on. I will suggest you go to Milorganite and review all the facts to be accurate in your own presentation. I only use MO on my self and my customers. I do customers for cost + 10% and not lite either. Good for the grass, good for the customer and good for me. They have great grass bragging rights and I get to cut it every 5-7 days. That biweekly just to keep the city off their ass is bogus and I would pass that up in a minute.
Leveling lawns? Is sand the best way.... with sloped yards especially.
do you cut you grass with a reel mower?
No, Exmark 36 inch Metro
Feces, tampons, puke, urine, pharmaceuticals! All great for the kids playing in
where do you get Milorganite??
David Wilson I normally go to my local Walmart but not all Walmart carry it. But Home depot has it in stock. It's normally a dollar cheaper at Walmart, good luck 👍🏾
lowes
David Wilson bought mine at my local Walmart, but not all carry it though. Go to Milorganite website I think they have a locator
Bermuda Grass Central Ok thanks
all home depot stores 12.99
First saw your video thought it was a joke but i tried it anyway. Boy its stinks .few weeks later when i look at my yard all i do is laugh. Grass looks nice pretty green that stuff do works everyday i laugh
its feces from wisconsin lol
you should have shown the neighbor's yard against yours first. looks awesome
Hey Byd does lime work in conjuction with the milorganite do both cause a really deep green bermuda lawn??
chris a great question. The line job is the level the ph of the soil. Then that enables the lawn to uptake the nutrients. If you ph is off then nutrient uptake is minimal. So to answer your question it's yes. But don't expert immediate results. If your not gonna get a soil test then yes add some lime. ( pelletized not that powder mess )
when should lime be added?
Emilio Nunez generally in the spring when grass comes out of dormancy.
I heavily applied this Milorganite stuff on my warm season Bermuda grass and had zero results. All it did was stink up my property. I couple my application with a lawn care company's seasonal application with 46-0-0 Urea. That achieved serious results.
This Urea will last 4-6 weeks and IS NOT slow release. It makes it deep green, thick and grows fast. I cut it every 3 days and only cut the top 1/3 of the grass blades. I pay $22.00 per 50lb pounds. The Nitrogen count relates to 23 lbs per 50lbs.
If people only cut their lawn once a week, they need not apply the Urea. I don't rely on any speed demon zero turn lawn cutting companies either. I use an Exmark 30" walk behind dual blade mower. I bag the clippings as well. My Bermuda grass looks like Zoysia from just 10' away.
I apply one bag of Urea per 3,000 sqft. The backyard is the same size and used 1 bag on it as well. It's applied in the North-South East-West directions to ensure complete coverage. The big box store brands of fertilizers are way overpriced and the highest I found was a 32 Nitrogen = 16lbs per 40 lbs bag and was nearly $50.00! Forget that noise.
Water in the Urea immediately after you apply it. Wait a few days and get ready to mow your *ss off. Apply every 4-6 weeks and you'll have a jam up thick golf green looking sod lawn all season long. Very heat tolerant once established.
Also, we apply the same Urea on our hay fields all season long and have gained 2 extra cuts per season. We buy that by the ton price and is applied with a large truck spreader. The bagged Urea is better refined for walk behind type spreaders. We pay $75.00 a ton for the Urea for the hay fields. We have the greenest hayfields anywhere around! We are trying to promote fast growth on the hayfields unlike the Bermuda sod around the house.
Good luck!
I’ve got some bare spots in my yard. Just put down some Bermuda seed with some top soil after I dethatched the spots. Should i apply a fertilizer as well? Thanks! Love the videos
L Pack watch this video first ua-cam.com/video/lM7rfB8iih0/v-deo.html
Every 2 weeks? lmao.... A healthy lawn should be maintained every 3 days
Have you tried Ringer Lawn Restore? Just curious on your opinion. Great video!
Corey A hey listen I've tried it and that stuff works!, one bag cover like 5 thousand square feet, not bio solids though it's plant based if I'm not mistaken. Only down fall is you have to order it but shipping should be free. It's funny you say that because I'm still consider putting some on my yard. What I did notice was a faster green up when I did use it, kind of smells like beer to me. Plus it's light as air when you broadcast it so you most definitely need to water it in after application. But I'd have to buy 3 bags and that would drive my cost to basically 100 per app so that's kind of why I'm not using it.
Bermuda Grass Central , nice lawn. Have you tried the green country fertilizer products yet? All liquid stuff though. How many lawns for you service ?
beautiful home sir. what state are you in? georgous brick homes..
those are brick facade McMansions. contractor grade, just big with a fancy facade.
Exactly. The rest is contractor grade vinyl siding and crap construction. Hurry and get em up!
Glen Atchison Post a pic of your better built, bigger brick mansion!!! I mean since you’re so critical of other people’s homes.
We built our home with steel construction. But then again we have a huge termite problem in our state.
