Sailing the Inside Passage Solo; sailing to Sitka Alaska and almost hit by a ferry (c01 p14)

Sailing the world has always been a dream, but can dreams come true? In this episode, I start documenting my journey to buy a sailboat and eventually sail the world. I first needed to purchase a sailboat and sail it up the inside passage from Seattle Washington to Sitka Alaska.
In this episode I sail out of Shulze Cove thought the thickest fog I have encountered so far, so thick I actually almost got hit by the Alaska State ferry. After the fog breaks , I have smooth sailing the remaining way to Sitka, Alaska. I also reflect on my journey and the how I feel about making it back home.
