For those who asked about the additional 4GB RAM, it is done by swapping 4GB from the tablet storage to use it as the virtual memory. You can enable it by going to Settings > About Tablet > RAM > Memory Expansion. Now, you have 10GB to run with. Based on my usage, the tablet feels smoother and apps reload more quickly.

Virtual memory is gimmick, on paper it sounds good but there’s a reason why ram is dedicated from your storage. Storage memory is much much slower than ram, virtual memory is decent for regular multi-tasking but if you run any games it’ll make the device feel slower. Samsung users were excited to get virtual ram added to One UI and a week later everyone was asking how to turn it off because their tablet felt slower with it.

I've seen lots of reviews claiming their blackview tab turned blackscreen after a month or so. it would be helpful if you could make a video update on how the tablet works after months of usage. planning to buy but still skeptical after reading some reviews online about the blackscreen
Everyone’s experience will be different, it’s a cheap Chinese tablet with questionable quality-control. You take the chance by paying less buying a Blackview, just make sure you test the device thoroughly in the 30 days when it’s still under the return-period
@@deleqtronica8733my experience with blackview has been good, no black screen and I'm pretty sure that people commenting about the black screen didn't even buy this tablet since it's too cheap, so I rather buy one to make sure if I can invest my money in their future products. Reviews are garbage.
The so called reviewers said the same negative thing about the Nokia c30, about how the screen would turn dark when there's incoming calls, something I never experienced in the first place

My understanding is that you cannot connect to the Internet without a pricey SIMO subscription but I may be wrong. The tablet has no internal wifi? For example, you would pay $40/month with SIMO for 10 Gigs of data. Is the SIM slot for a phone plan? I think this tablet is mainly for people who travel a lot. If you can connect to wifi without SIMO, please let us know.

I own one of these tabs. You can access internet via wifi or using 2 x 4g dual sims or simo internet. Its built in virtual sim. The simo 4g enables when you disable the wifi button and if you dont have a sim card inserted. It gives you free 2 gb internet as free trial and then you subscribe to pay for internet usage. Pretty fast in uk as well

It uses SIMO. It's offered in 135 countries currently and it's a paid service.

Yes, this is the first Blackview tablet that comes with PC mode integrated.
Don't bother with this lump of junk. Mine constantly turns off to lock screen whilst trying to watch video's. Menu' s are crap too, no where near the options of other Android tablets.
