- Another University in the United States has agreed to consider divesting from companies that do business in Israel, in a deal with protesting students.
The administration at Johns Hopkins heeded the key demand of students, who had set up an anti-war encampment on campus.
Al Jazeera’s Patty Culhane reports from Washington, DC.

To ruin someone’s graduation for your protest is just messed up. That’s a huge achievement for some people that spends thousands to get there and countless nights up to make it. I would be devastated if this happened during my graduation.
I think the JHU students are right. They have already achieved a victory. Now it is time to find other ways to continue supporting the liberation of Palestine.
From what I heard, this is not the end... It is only the beginning of the real work, to get the school to follow through of their demands. Have faith on the students. They know what they are doing.
