I know man, I love his tone since day one what blessing he was for the team. He's exactly what we truly needed to encompass and make this team whole across the board.
Shout out to Mom, Dad, and the entire Purdy family.. raised this dude, right!!! Humble, soft-spoken, respectful.. but come game day, all business!!! Love Brock
Man….Brock you’re the QB we’ve been waiting for since Steve Young went down. Thanks for being such a chill calm talented dude!! Lets get it this year!!!
Is this dude real?!?!!! Like am I crazy or is he perfect?!! He checks every single box as a franchise QB and as an exceptional human being. The world is a better place with Brock Purdy in it!
The 49ers hit the jackpot when they selected Brock Purdy. I was around back in 1979 when the Niners picked Joe Montana. Brock has a lot of similarities, it’s uncanny.
@@hugomartinez6251 Now, that’s a good question. Back in the early eighties very few were analyzing football. Maybe one cable TV weekly show. Nobody was paying too much attention to the Niners. They started the season 1-2. And then they continued to quietly win each game. Except one. They lost a late season home game against the Cleveland Browns. Ray Wershing kicked 5 field goals. Coach Bill Walsh said after that game that they were going to be more aggressive in the red zone. They never looked back. The NFC championship game was uncharacteristic of how the Niners played that season. Montana threw several interceptions and kept Dallas in the game. Of course, the famous Montana to Dwight Clark put the Niners ahead late in the fourth quarter. Dallas almost pulled off a miracle comeback themselves, but the Niners defense made a game saving tackle. And then off to the Super Bowl where the Niner defense was stellar and they beat the Bengals. Joe was the MVP, but it wasn’t like he had a big game. It was mostly by default. Joe’s best Super Bowl was several years later where Jerry Rice was selected MVP. The irony.
@@hugomartinez6251 So, to really answer your question, Montana was never doubted. But people didn’t realize how good he was until the Niners were the dominant team of the 90s. And Joe was the man! Cool 😎 and calm (on appearance). Brock totally reminds me of Joe, especially when he walks up to the center. Just his body language.
I wish I'd watched him live when he was playing in college. That's awesome that you saw it. People either did or they didn't because it's all history now!
I'd say this even if Brock wasn't playing for the Niners, he's just a really nice humble guy. I hope the NFL trappings don't jade him and that he keeps it as real and as humble as he does at this point in his life. Shout out to his parents for raising their boy right! Keep up the good work Brock.
I’m still shocked that Brock landed with our team. He’s such a good dude. I just want to protect him from all bad the things. Proud of my QB1, let’s support him no matter what. But more importantly let’s enjoy this moment. ❤️🏈🏈❤️
Brock Purdy is a goddamn national treasure. I love this guy. What a story. Don't change Brock. You're a superstar and your future is going to be unbelieveable.
best draft pick I have seen in my lifetime. Literally the last pick but the output is one of a #1 overall pick and he's one of the best starting qbs in the National Football League.. LOVE YOU BROCK
This humble, respectful, talented young man is so cool! Congratulations on your engagement Brock and Jenna. You have so much going for you. The more I learn about this fine young man, the more I love him. Win or lose we’ll be loving on you too Brock. God bless you and your future ❤ Let’s go NINERS!!!
Its cool he is the same humble and respectable young man we saw at Iowa State that is the same with the 49ers. He wasn't surrounded with a lot of talent like he has now but he was always a gamer that would put the team on his back when he had to and its been fun to see what he can do with good weapons and a solid O-line and a good defense too. There was quite a few times at ISU he had to run for his life or had to make a play, we always worried he would get hurt having to do so much each game. It's been fun to watch the Niners Gang.. Go 49ers!
What a humble, good guy. Congratulations on all your success. What an amazing job. Keep rocking and rolling. People are rooting for you across the country. Incredible story.
Always been a 49ers fan since Joe Montana. So happy for this kid, very talented, love the story will follow this kid for years. Keep the incredible work up Brock a lot of kids you are there hero. Very impressive
I was watching Brock in the draft, and SO HAPPY we took him - to see his trajectory has been nothing short of amazing. Massive congrats on the success, and best wishes for continued good health. And big kudos to Lindsay + team for the production work re team reporting; as a film/media guy, I respect her game as well. Cheers to y'all.
I called Brock the face of the 49’ers when I first saw him play last preseason. He did not disappoint. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Brock and the rest of the 49’ers team. Brock is the reason why I am now a fan of the 49’ers. He was the missing puzzle piece. Hope to see you guys play one day live.
Thank you for this interview. I live in Iowa and a Hawkeyes fan so I don't pay much attention to ISU but the more I hear and learn about Brock, the more I support and root for his success, not just on the field, but in life as a whole. Everyone loved an underdog story and hopefully, it's one for the ages.
Same, but I love all players from Iowa and ISU has TONS in the NFL right now. Breece Hall, David Montgomery, Alan Lazard, Xavier Huchinson just to name few!
Man this guy is really awesome. So down to earth. We rockin with you Brock! Just know that! 💯

He's the biggest steal in the history of NFL. After the terrible depths where we were, it is good to be a 9ers fan now and to see that such a team has been created and that such a guy is at the leader of this team and we can see such a high level of football from him and them. As Purdy and the rest would say "It's a blessing."
Been a faithful all my life. I appreciate we have this guy as our QB. He has proven a lot but still has a long way to go. I will be on this ride as long as I can. Wish nothing but the best for this kid and our team. Just remember it’s not how you start it’s how you finish. Let’s hope we stay healthy and go all the way to our 6th Super Bowl victory!! BANG BANG NINER GANG!
Been a niners fan since ‘89. Love me some Montana and young. But this kid has something that makes me like em. Still don’t know what it is but I’m a fan for sure.
4:06 I'm 52yrs old and I want to grow up just like Brock! Lol. Hey Brock, I've been a San Francisco 49ers fan since before you were born and have yet to see a game in person. If I never do, I still bleed red & gold till I'm dead and cold. GO NINERS!! Let's get to 6-0! Remember, once a Niner always a Niner.
The most terrifying thing Brock said in the entire interview was that he was WAY more nervous about proposing to his now fiancee than about playing in the NFL. In other words, he'd rather be chased by 260-320 pound men running at him full speed, than to get down on one knee and ask his lady to marry him. Yeah... that should put fear into EVERYBODY that plays this cat 😎
Im so so pleased and happy for this young man❤ a true inspiration, hes been nothing short of a miracle. Lets go all the way for the greatest story ever! 😊
I've been a 49er fan since Joe Montana, a ver humble and level-headed man like Joe. im beginning to be a fan of this young man. Keep it up. GO NINERS!!!
Alright dude is into fishing and the outdoor nature. It's good for the soul indeed. These are the type of people who loves peace and calm places and appreciate life itself. That explains a lot about his character.
You gotta support this young man and his humbleness. He has every opportunity to show out but he doesn't and that's why he will be a great nfl qb. Look at all the nfl greats. All of them acted like Brock Purdy. Team players to the core. Take it one day at a time!
I’ve been a 49er fan for 43 years. The team so badly needed a good QB for so long, I got pretty invested in Trey Lance, once the team made that big move to draft him. Given his draft position, Purdy was honestly an afterthought to me, initially. I was skeptical even after last season-just because of the injury to his arm-but I know when I’m wrong and can own it. This guy is a superstar. Clearly the franchise QB for the foreseeable future. We tend to focus on height, weight, 40-time, and arm strength, but Purdy’s intangibles-pocket presence, vision, anticipation, timing, etc-are elite. Such a great pick and great story. The best is yet to come!
Can't understand hating on this guy. So cool. So talented. So humble. So respectful. Great draft pick fellas. Go 49ers!!
The haters speak out of fear for their team for sure. If they knew the guy though, they really wouldn’t fr
I know man, I love his tone since day one what blessing he was for the team. He's exactly what we truly needed to encompass and make this team whole across the board.
imagine we had mahomes, imagine the hate then hahaha makes sense ppl are scared
@@TejRecordz Probably but I kinda glad we don't lol can't stand him lol even if he's the current best
the only people who hate him are people who hate the niners, they are pessimistic and stubborn and perhaps jealous
As a 49ers fan and a kid from Arizona, Brock Purdy is my hero.
Good here to choose.
Same here. Lived in AZ since 85 and my dad's side of the family is from Marin county by SF
I'm from Oregon and he's my hero too. 😆
That’s so cool!
As a 49er fan and a 30 year old man Brock is my hero 😂😂
Shout out to Mom, Dad, and the entire Purdy family.. raised this dude, right!!! Humble, soft-spoken, respectful.. but come game day, all business!!! Love Brock
Totally beautiful thing to see
Agreed. Mature head on young shoulders. Sharing a home with a teammate is another sign of that.
Wonderful to see.
Best part, he’s a God fearing man.

Kaepernick used to yell and get mad at fans fans when they took a pic or talked to him. Purdy is so much better
Brocktober is in full effect. Brock is such a humble guy, i hope he’s successful in his career.
How could you not be a fan of this guy?
Because he's better than me
Haters and doubters

Agree. Every person is different, but Brock reminds a lot of Joe in many ways.
Our QB back in 1979 was Steve DeBerg. Remember him?😂
Gotta pick your Brain. How long did they doubt Joe? Lol

When I saw Brock and Iowa State decimate Oregon in the Holiday Bowl, I saw special talent. Glad the 9ers saw it as well. Great talent, cool guy.
