I grew up eating callaloo. I went to a Cameroonian wedding and ate a greens that was so delicious and tasted so similar to callaloo. Now I know that it might be a similar plant.

I would love to get more info on spinach. I've grown Nigerian and several others. The blossoms on Nigerian are beautiful and I've heard they are edible. Do you have experience with these vegetable? Thanks for the informative videos!

Thanks a lot for leaving a comment and question. Please help me get more clarity. Are you asking for more information on regular spinach? Yes, the blossoms on the Nigerian spinach is beautiful. This is my first experience growing the shoko in my garden. I’ll let the plants flower

@@YAJESGARDEN the nigerian spinach is all I know it is called. It is growing very tall with green leaves going all the way up and the blossoms are 5-6 inches long, purple to white on top like little brushes. Thank you again for your info!

Jamaican callaloo ( sorry to disturb cause when y'all say Caribbean y'all only talking jamaica) anyway in the Caribbean countries like trinidad etc called coco leaf callaloo.... Rumors have it, they said decades ago it's a jamaican cook callaloo and never wanna tell the people what it's because it was his secret recipe and the people assume it's cocoyam aka taro leaf and from then on everyone call it callaloo😅 so a false assumption becomes reality
