Nope when you integrate + 10x^-6, it goes to 10x^-5/-5. We can cancel out the factor of 5 and simplify to 2x^-5/-1 and then get rid of the negative on the denominator by multiplying the top and bottom by -1, which therefore makes it -2x^-5 and the overall expression y = x^3 - 2x^2 - 2x^-5 + c. When we substitute x and y into this, we get 3 = (1)^3 - 2(1)^2 - 2(1)^-5 + c, which is 3 = 1 - 2 - 2 + c then 3 = -3 + c so c = 6.
