Spectacular footage and a great farewell. It's sad that Horizon also saw her demise due to changing financial landscape from the covid-19 pandemic. I've done refurbishment work on the ship as lately as autumn of 2019.
Very sad. I was a shore ex staff on Horizon in 2002 and lived on board for nine months. My cabin was right near the starboard anker. Many good memories but she was tired then.

So sad. These were lovely ships and considered midsized when they launched. I guess Century, Galaxy and Mercury will meet this fate in just a few years.
I sailed on her a few times when it was with Celebrity cruise line...it was a beauty. Her sister ship was the MV Zenith which I also sailed on.

Sailed to Bermuda on her in 1987. State of the art ship in her day.
She was built in 1990. So must be later you sailed on her.
My first cruise in December 1997 from La Guaira , Venezuela to Ft Lauderdale. Sad to see her go !
So sad. What a throw away society we are now. This ship was only in service for about 30 years.
