@CRYPTO-KID the markets are doing terrible because of new inflation numbers in the US and postponing of rate-cuts. NOT that much because of geopolitical events. Just look at the 10 year yield. Very obvious. It's only commodities like gold and oil that reacts on the geopolitical situation. The dollar is up because now since the last CPI numbers from the fed it looks like the US maybe can't cut rates this summer because of inflation is increasing in the US and that has an enormous effect on the dollar, cus the heavy European markets really needs to cut this summer, thats why the dollar is up. Just look what happen to the dollar and the US stock market last year since the fed started talking about cuts. US Markest went up until 2 weeks ago and the dollar down. The geopolitical situation in the middle east has more or less been the same since October. No new conflicts starting since then. It's the same nations and groups that are in a conflict. Pls read up on what moves the American market, that in it self most of the time moves the worlds markets. The us markets depend almost always on how the American economy is doing and NOT some geopolitical situation somewhere else in the world, unless you have a world war. That's facts if you study the history of the American markets. Great example since October. And the Russian Ukraine war. It's just media that like to obsess in the effects of conflicts in the world. Cocoa, I heard a few yrs ago cocoa was destined to go to the moon. Here in NZ a 250g block of chocolate used to cost ~$4 in 2020 now its around $6.80. Sounds like we'll look back at these prices and think that's cheap in a few yrs. Oh well. We took cocoa for granted most of my life forgetting how special it actually is though.
