I was in a horrible marriage! Abusive both physical and emotional. She literally tortured me for years! She was a narcissistic monster! Even after we had three children together she’d beat me and abuse me whenever she felt threatened with me showing any kind of independence. Her family saw it and she show tears and they’d support her. They made me the monster and I so wasn’t. It took the police and our 6 year old daughter calling the police when she had sat on me until I was unconscious that they realized I was telling the truth. I was put into a shelter and found help. I got my children as well. Men being abused is a real thing 😢

@@SoundsBogus yeah that does sound bogus. Females have the power of persuasion. I spent a year in a dangerous county jail fighting a case because a woman said I attacked her after she attacked me. They didn't give me a second to explain just back of the cop car i went followed by the most angry and biased interrogation I've ever seen. I can't even sue her because despite being released because of dropped charges, the protective order still stands

I had a GF that used to hit me regularly she broke my finger. She hit me with a 2 x 4 and knocked me out. She pushed me out of a window as I was trying to escape out of the house from her and I fell and broke my ankle three years after the relationship she found out I was having a baby had me charged with assault I had to sit there listening to her lie on the stand and even the judge taking sides with her saying that she was a brave woman. All of this made me sick to my stomach. In the end I received 18 months in jail, my child’s birth, and there was nothing that I could do about it. The police are definitely getting better with that but the courts sadly are not. My ex wife used to hit me all of the time. The cops even showed up but I couldn’t get myself to tell the police that she was constantly hitting me, scratching me, throwing things at me, etc. but I just couldn’t do it especially when my daughter cried and said she didn’t want Mama to go to jail.
She was also a makeup artist for broadway plays, turns out one night she made a fake black eye and took pics, sent it to some girl who was in love with her who posted it all over social media.
She even crashed our car on purpose screaming she was going to kill us, we flipped 3 times. Even after all of that I didn’t want to divorce and thought we could work it out for my daughter.
Then one day I’m sitting in my living room and the cops show up and serve me a restraining order, made me leave my house.
I produced videos and pics of her attacking me and threatening to burn our house down but the judge still put the restraining order on me & kept it going for like a year.
After that I lost what little faith I had in the justice system. The judge was some angry woman who to me seemed like she just loves screwing men over.
If I could sue I would. But that was years ago now so I’m just happy it’s over with. I went through hell for a whole year because of it.
Her one redeeming quality was that she did tell the court that I’m a great father which is true but I also think it was just because she wanted her weekends free. Total narcissist.
I haven’t been able to get into any meaningful relationships since out of fear I’ll have to go through that hell again. I date women but don’t allow myself to get close. So I guess you could call that ptsd.
Even my lawyer was disgusted with the judge who didn’t even allow her to do her job. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.

@@pinnacleproductions6275 I've been divorced for ten years now. I had my own issues in marriage as well. I actually did try to date for the first few years until I realized that my life is so much easier single. And now that I've made that decision I feel freer and happier than I ever have. For me once I took the time to work on myself and learn to love myself then I found that not only did I no longer get lonely but I realized single was sooooo much easier with no drama. Being in a relationship no longer made sense to me. So I hope that you learn to love yourself and learn to NEVER settle. Figure out what YOU want and what YOU need and you won't ever allow yourself to be in that again. I think often these people prey on those who aren't so confident and sure of what they deserve. Good luck to you both!

I grew up in Henry county and I’ve been a guardian ad Litem for children in the care of DCFS for nearly 8 years now. All you need to know is, our politicians/leaders are corrupt and our foster system is more broken than most people can even begin to fathom. The stories I could tell. I’m actually resigning from my 8 year volunteer advocacy position once my current case reaches some sort of end. I’ve known all along that things are broken, I mean heck, that’s why I wanted to try and make a difference by being a child advocate but the frustration I’ve felt across the board regarding my current case has really opened my eyes to just how bad things are. There is no fixing our current system. Same with the way our government and judicial system…it all needs to be torn to the ground and restructure from scratch.

The first lady really honestly needed a doctor not jail. It's so sad to see when a person with a real illness is treated like a criminal when in fact she just needed someone to care enough to try and help her. This is a real issue for many men and women who have psychological problems that may be undiagnosed or not treated. I know it's a very difficult thing to deal with from the outside and it's just easier to write them off but imagine if it was someone who you loved that was found in a situation where they are not in control of their own minds. You would want someone to show them kindness and get them whatever help they needed instead of sent into a broken system that will only send them deeper into an abyss where they can't even recognize themselves. I know I would want someone to help me.

category isn't any more fair than it is to generalize white people, black people or blue people. There are both good people and bad people everywhere!
Besides, what alternative would you propose? Should we do away with leo's completely and allow the citizens to police themselves? What do we do when
people make their job so horrible by they way they are treated (even the good ones) that you can't pay anyone enough to be a leo? We're not far away,

Ik she was acting really weird but she was clearly having a psychotic break or drugs or both.. I heard the boyfriend saying her dad took her to the mental hospital. I think that was excessive force and he needs to keep his hands/arms/elbows off of peoples necks, especially if they are already cuffed.

They need a Democrat to come in and get this state into shape- starting with their woefully inept education which exacerbates every issue they have. The husband/boyfriend was obviously not pressing charges and didnt want her arrested, next day was her birthday and they both were a bit too drunk on holiday. Yeah she probably tried to hold him back from leaving in a way she shouldnt, but you do not always need to blow things bigger than they are. Why not just make sure the guy can leave and write down what happened and let her sleep out her drunkness. To me she seemed more worried and sad, instead of aggresiv or crazy.

There are some pretty nasty, violent & abusive women out their. If you do this stuff, don't think you can get away with it just because your a woman
