This is the new generation of mobility, who would have thought this would be our future . Who really knows what the future may bring . Modern. Invention great ideas at work
#15 Sea Reacher, could fulfill a need as a clear Lagoon "toy" for natives or tourist! Uh, Tahiti please order this NOW- before I arrive! #10 Three Wheel Pedal; when you want to go for a LONG walk but your legs already asked for some time off! #11; when you own a Gold Mine and looking for a way to guide a small group tour! Favorite #2 Boatwerk; College Break activity!
#5. .. the transition from upright to reclined is a good idea ... Toss in a 25 horsepower turbo diesel, laminated Kevlar shell, bullet resistant lexan windows and a five point racing harness ...
@Reacher MED Dual powered. .. Electric indoors, fueled outdoors ... best of both worlds ... Go shopping at the mall then freeway home ... I could see a steam boiler on a tiny trailer to power engine on #14 ...
So glad you did this follow up video. I remember seeing most of these creations a while back and now some them are gone while some of them have apparently survived. At #10,The DTV SHREDDER seems like a great vehicle. Now that it's been approved for sale in the US we probably will start seeing some of them. The fact that it has handlebars to assist the driver/rider is a big plus and opens up the field of consumers that want to ride/drive it. The price tag will hopefully come down some, that's when it may really take off. It can be used year round, that's a big plus, along with the handlebars.
I think the unit by Toyota would be very useful for people in Wheelchairs. It looks like it could go from a wheelchair (upright mode) into a vehicle transport (low mode) to get around town.
I really like the submarines! Especially the one at number 2 spot. I also like the one that didn't make it to production that has personal devices that can go in the larger device to go between locations. I'm surprised that didn't take off. I immediately thought of conventions and conferences as a perfect venue for them!
The segway an the subs were my favorites. Wish list price of the different subs shown was thrown in even if was a base price or average. Must say the diving depth was impressive.
I did too and I looked it up in 2007 Car and Driver reviewed the twike at $26,000. Currently the Twix five is $56,000 but it does a hundred twenty miles per hour with a 310 Mi range.
You have probably already done the Aptera... but that is my favorite! I fully expect to see these around once they get thru regulatory issues. Apparently Zap electric car bought them via Chinese financing. This was a great idea that will make the future "very present" and seemed equally practical and stylish. I believe the Elio Motor 3-wheeled vehicle wasn't far behind this at all. Perhaps an even better business strategy. Certainly, they had great marketing! How do we help the concepts gain greater traction?
“This one is called the WheelSurf and it’s unlike any vehicle you’ve ever seen” Except the 10+ similar designs, plus that black and white 1880s photo of one!
All of those are ridiculously cool! Anything with a cruise speed of highway legal and a range of over 300 miles gets my vote. And submersibles. Oh yeah!
Most of these jewels should be available to the public today, so sad not all are ! I call for a refund me - up rising. Great concepts beautiful designs. Especially the Segway. Sign me up ! All have a place in this time and age.
Actually, the company sold so many of them in East France and Western parts of Canada that the owner was able to sell the company to Rollarworld in N.E China, invest the profit into several unknown to this day cryptocurrencies then retire a rich man at the ripe young age of 87. So, moral of the story, work hard, go out invent that next pet rock people will buy no matter how rediculous it seems, and one day, probably when you're to old to enjoy it, can be a debit free, virtual currency mastermind, get rich slowly, successful, legend and inspiration to all.
My personal favorite is the Suzuki vehicule. If they can augment speed and distance, they can mass produce them. They should redisign the cabin for a better visibility.
Really liked the Dolphin/Shark vehicle. #10 seems to be very harsh and destructive on the environment leaving behind ripped up ground. The little subs were very cool.
I was surprised you had pedelecs and ebikes but didn't mention the Organic Transit E.L.F. Still open and producing. Not cheap but on par with high end ebikes for cost. Much more functional.
So, for over $2000.00 one can get a big skateboard that offers a whole 18miles on a charge, and you wanna buy that dude a beer?! I'll buy him a beer too, but only if he swaps out that electric crap for a pumped up little gas motor.....18 miles for over 2 grand, are you crazy? What a farce....
Your #1 pick can be seen in the Alita Battle Angel movie coming out in Feb. I saw them riding them around while we were on set and they just didn't seem to look like they were all the advertisements said but, still cool.
Thanks! Some of these look really cool, & it's a shame they're not all still around. Now, about that Uboat Worx... you *_did_* say it could descend to *_just under 5600 feet?!?_* A recreational sub can dive a mile down?!? Wow! Now, *_THAT'S COOL!!!_* I love the Rhino unicycle, but you said its top speed was only 10mph? That's way too slow to be anywhere near traffic! I don't know if you or many of your watchers know this, but the Rhino was developed by a man whose young daughter asked him why it couldn't be done... so he did it! Just thought that was kinda interesting. Thanks again. Rikki Tikki.
Hey Santa I’ll take the silver one with blue trim please! Don’t forget the Turtle wax! Hey if it has a stereo I’ll need a good cd holder too! Thanx Santa, say hello to Dasher for me!
All great inventions. The toyota personal vehicle prototype that goes low for high speed and quick handling would be what I would hope to see on the market.
I am surprised Future Motion's Onewheel didn't make your list. You included some innovative and revolutionary designs but omitted, what I believe is the best personal mobility device on the market. Future Motion's new model, the "Pint" costs less than a quarter of the chariot wheels and you will look cooler. Buy them a beer.
Most of these are so limited in how, when and where they can be used to make them nothing more then a conversation piece. The shredder is a perfect example of a vehicle that certainly looks like a lot of fun. But when you consider where it can be used and exactly what it does to the trails after a short period of time make them a nightmare for anyone else who might want to use the area for anything else.
I LOVE !! #2 the Sub Bubble thing looks awesome. The other item are those Tank Skateboards. I foresee them to be used in some sort of futuristic Sci Fi Movie in years to come. ( hope the military is watching) ;-)
I was in the room when the guy who built the Ryno was show it to a tech meet up in Portland, when he said the price the whole room gulped. It wasn't just under $3000 he said it would be around $5700. I think he had a huge interest from police departments and was trying to sell a bunch of them to departments at a high price.
It's a shame those chariot skates are so damn expensive. They could have led to a revolution in personal transportation if they were affordable. They Segway Centaur too, would have been nice if it made it to production.
Segway Centaur .. I remember the promo video with sequences in tight quarters in a warehouse and flying around some terain .. with my town's continuing Segway tours/rental and the rise in interest for both quads and electric vehicles of all sorts ( Boosted, bicycles and cars ) I was surprised that this product was never fully launched
Ryno Motors has said, for each of the last six years, that their Ryno Wheel (#2) will be brought to market in the first quarter of next year. One would think that funding was to be had, it'd be had by now. I've been watching for it for as many years as the company was saying it would be available because of my limited ability to walk extended distances ever since the U.S. government bureaucrats took over the job of deciding how much pain medication is adequate for chronic pain patients. Turns out us veterans, that gave the most, require the least.
Thanks for watching everyone! 😍

I really loved the shark/dolphin /orca one! That looks like so much fun!

I really liked the underwater shark, dolphin, orca surfer DTV shredder, 360 trike, Cruz SUB. 👍I would love to own one of these.
#5. .. the transition from upright to reclined is a good idea ... Toss in a 25 horsepower turbo diesel, laminated Kevlar shell, bullet resistant lexan windows and a five point racing harness ...

The tracked unit. Great way to see the outdoors.

I'm looking forward to trying one myself.
The last one I could do all my needed travelling in my small town.
please do more videos with updates to previously mentioned vehicle and gadgets like this one
I think the unit by Toyota would be very useful for people in Wheelchairs. It looks like it could go from a wheelchair (upright mode) into a vehicle transport (low mode) to get around town.
It was ahead of it's time maybe in the year 2320

Nothing like looking at something that could have been but probably never will. All we can do is drool, these are awesome to see!!!!
The sub that seats 11. Very amazing tourist thing.
the segway 4 wheeler was awesome... that coulda made money

You have probably already done the Aptera... but that is my favorite! I fully expect to see these around once they get thru regulatory issues. I like all of them!!
The personal submarine is the coolest thing I've ever seen
“This one is called the WheelSurf and it’s unlike any vehicle you’ve ever seen”
Except the 10+ similar designs, plus that black and white 1880s photo of one!
The segway atv should've gone through. Also the Suzuki concept looked pretty cool.
All of those are ridiculously cool! Anything with a cruise speed of highway legal and a range of over 300 miles gets my vote. And submersibles. Oh yeah!
Chris Blake Might as well just buy a motorcycle for the price of many of these.
Reacher MED Submersible would be fun but motorcycles aren't that fun? A personal helicopter would be fun too, but not many can afford it.
Most of these jewels should be available to the public today, so sad not all are ! I call for a refund me - up rising. Great concepts beautiful designs. Especially the Segway. Sign me up ! All have a place in this time and age.

The Sub of 5,600 feet depth and unicycle very cool
Really liked the Dolphin/Shark vehicle. #10 seems to be very harsh and destructive on the environment leaving behind ripped up ground. The little subs were very cool.
The minisub is much cooler than the unicycle.

That thigamagig from Toyota is cool, but the mini sub? That’s amazing!

the big wheel... should be a riot until you rotate completely upside down...
the sub is cool and useful
how about having a charger in one wheel to charge it while it is in motion
