I think he can understand at least 90% but two of them are not used to speaking English and are ashamed of their pronunciation. I also have the same problem. For us Italians or French (Romance Language) it is more difficult to pronounce the English language than a German that has more affinity with English

I like Victoria because, if someone who doesn't know Maneskin may think she is a pretty girl made to play bass only for the aesthetics, she immediately removes the doubt and doesn't shut up for a moment. She founded the band and is co-author of the songs
I like her a lot. Her stage presence got me, the other guys too, but Victoria is Victoria

She's the most extrovert and energic one! Just look at the videos of the European tour on their UA-cam channel. She's laughing, running, skateboarding and making jokes 24/7 😂

He's such a sweetheart - he puts all the artists at ease, and really appreciates them all and does his homework to really understand where they're coming from and to ask great questions.

The fact that they started as buskers and the way they talk about how embarrassing it was made me very sad, it sucks when you want to pursue your dreams and do what you love but society doesn't care about you and even thinks you're being annoying. So proud to see how far they've come
Lots of musicians start out that way. I think it just highlights their perseverance, dedication and talent when they finally make it.
well, I'm sure there's a lot worse than that. I don't think they find that so annoying in people, that's just part of getting started in the arts. What may have been annoying and/or unfair will have been prejudice against a certain kind of fashion choices, or attitude.

I don't like that. I also work in the workspace dominated by men. I don't think about it on daily basis and don't consider this as weird unless someone from the outside comes out and ask this kind of questions. I want to be treated as a normal person.

Ottimi i fuochi, bisogna attirare l'attenzione, in molti sentiranno la canzone per la prima volta e questo è un problema non partecipando alle semifinali. Peccato che non ci sia un violino come a Sanremo, sarebbe stata vittoria sicura. E attenti alle inquadrature, alle simmetrie di gruppo... fanno vincere! Italy stole my heart this year, without any doubt! I started listening to all their songs..wow! Btw I find it adorable how Damiano and Victoria always look at each other for reassurance, it's an unconscious thing to do, almost a reflex. I heard they are especially close within the band. These guys are simply winners, they ended X factor and they won, they entered Sanremo and they won, now they won the ESC. They are giants of Italian music in the world, so proud of them.
The funny thing is that they actually didn't win XFactor, they got 2 place after some random guy that nobody cares about. I remember complaining about it to my friends and they said that they weren't as good as him and didn't deserve to win💀

@@eliago7599 there's this so-called curse that whenever you win sth like x-factor or the voice you will be forgotten, but those coming in second always become big stars. Seems to be the case again here :)
@@irisschuring2533 it's probably because the music industry doesn't really care about contest winners, they use them to make two or three songs and shove them down everyone's throat, then they get bored and pick a new disposable "star". Bands who get 2 place don't get pushed around as much and still get a nice amount of publicity, so that probably helps a lot if the band is very talented and willing to put in a lot of effort to achieve their goals (like Måneskin😼)

Always such a pleasure to watch them. Not only they're beautiful and talented but also kind and down-to earth. The boys being true gentlemen and protecting Victoria is so sweet. That's why they work so well as a band, you can tell how much they care about each other.

The sad part is that Ethan and Thomas,I guess, are a bit afraid of speaking in English maybe because they don't want to make errors, so they don't talk in any of the questions. For instance, in this interview the only thing Thomas said is that he's the guitarist of the group. They shouldn't be scared though. It's totally normal making errors when speaking in a foreign language. Sometimes we even say incorrect stuff in our mother tounge. The point here is not to be perfect but other people can understand you.
