Hi Jerry thanks for your review 😄😄. I hope this brand come to our market here in Indonesia. Although this J7 caught still testing maybe soon to be launched 😄. Can't wait 😄
After test-driving the car, these are my distilled thoughts and why it was taken off my shortlist. The space (width) of the front seats is a bit small making it feel cramped in the front seats. This seems to be caused by the wide centre console. In the front passenger seat, the glove box makes contact with your knees when it is open. The front seats feel much less roomy than a Chery Tigo Pro Max or Havaal H7. The steering was twitchy on the highway, and the frequent small corrections meant it was not relaxing going in a straight line at highway speeds. The boot is small due to the full size spare tyre, and I doubt it would be big enough to fit a pram and anything else, it certainly didn't seem big enough to fit 2 x roller check-in luggage bags. Otherwise, the car is fantastic if the issues I mentioned are not a problem for you.
Hi, got my self the awd. Awesome car. Have a question though. When i test drove the color of the screen would change dark if lights got turned on. In the released version. The display doesnt turn dark automatically, but you have to setup a time
Not a big seller here in South Africa. Maybe because of safety concerns as driver must take eyes off the road to go through screen menus. Adas beeps all the time and must be switched off at the start of every drive.

Great review. How do you think this compares to the BYD sealion 6?
BYD is more spacious with better fuel consumption.
Jaecoo is more stylish and a bit more fun to drive.

Awesome.
Have you checked the settings under brightness? You need to select it to Auto.
@@JerryPanandCars when you select auto, you have to define a time period between which it will be dark
Omg when is Australia going to get it 😮
Not sure :(
Goodone Jerry, hope there would be a hybrid in the line up.
I believe the PHEV version is under consideration for NZ
Yep, there is one PHEV version of this available in China. It is possible if the petrol one is popular :D
Singapore version is phev
Lol im gonna give a try to drive test on tuesday at winger see how it goes of i can trade in my vitara
Is there a all electric model?
Not for this car but PHEV of this is available in China.
Is Jaecoo brand belongs to Gelly Company ?
Nope. The parent company is named Chery. A big company as well: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chery
That tissue dispenser in the centre console is weird.
I certainly haven't seen any other cars with tissue department. It doesn't take much space though.
它非常的实用,非常好的一个设计
I thought it was cool! Great for kids and people who get allergies.
Is it comes in 7 seating???
@@reubenilyas no
Does the car run on 91 or 95 petrol. Have Jaecoo nz set pricing for these vehicles yet.
