Hey guys, make sure to check out my last video if you haven't already! ALL Season 2 Satellite Scramble Maps Tips & Tricks: ua-cam.com/video/-PhMg24azTE/v-deo.html
A lot of these are fairly obvious if you have any bit of experience, really beginners will fully benefit from this video but I'm glad to hear you learned a thing or two!
Hi Izzytorium! Awesome video, just wondering, is slow diving or double-jumping more efficient with tiles? I've mastered both, but I'm not sure which is better.
Just call me izzy, no need to be formal. To answer you're question I would say double jumping because you're jumping on a tile twice, however that doesn't mean slow diving is bad or doesn't slow you down either, but really slow diving is less risky and easier to do imo.
Not sure if many people knows this but you can actually jump over 3 tiles, and 2 tiles without diving You just gotta time it well after you jump an hexagon since the bean normally has a delay of around 0.2 to jump after a platform fades Just jump until you reach the corner of the hexagon and dive I won around 15 games yesterday on hexagone trials by perfoming this
Would like to add that you can jump- dive, 360- dive and coyote jump-dive as well in Hex 4041. Also Hex-a-Terres can be double jumped using coyote (more consistent on high ping) PC players have a huge advantage on high FPS, exploiting coyote is the key to crowns Also you can still F1 jump on Hex Terres lol
What do you mean by slow jumping? is it that you jump from tile to tile but only when the tile is about to fade away? Slow diving more effective way cause the diving slows you down slightly.
fun fact, double jumping is not worth it in anything but thin ice, if you mess up at all you die, and the momentum is wacky and can kill you simply by glitching, instead just jump, and then wait for a second and jump before the tile vanishes, more consistent
Hey Izzy, just wanted to say great guide and has helped me get quite a few wins on hex-a-thon and helped me to get really good and consistent at double jumping. Got some questions though: How much slower is double jumping than jump diving? Should I be jump diving or double dumping on hex-a-gone (noticed in the video you were mostly jump diving)? Lastly on hex-a-ring I often find it hard to get the opportunity to double jump considering there are so many people that just run and eat up the tiles. So should I be sprint jumping or double jumping on hex-a-ring? Also if I should be double jumping, any tips on that in hex-a-ring?
I personally find that double jumping and slow diving slow you down the same, maybe double jumping is slower by 1 or half a second, although I do slow diving more than double jumping because I might have a lot of tiles and don't want to screw it up by double jumping and miss timing my jump, potentially falling off. As for your second question I would say to double jump on the sides of the rings if no one is near you and its only really useful at the start of the game, I recommend sprint jumping especially during mid to late game as a way to conserve tiles.
You won't belive me that the "making a giant hole at the bottom floor" in Hex-a-gon is still a good strategy to go. I mean, almost everytime I played hex-a-gone, most people in the lobby is running around like headless chicken trying to cut each other off, which is ended up no one falling first and every floor will be cleared very fast So after these experiences I decied to go down to the bottom floor and making a giant hole from the middle, and I managed to win hex-a-thon two times by this strategy. BUT, it's like 50/50 chance of working. I can win only two rounds of hex-a-thon by using this strategy, but I think it still worth to take.
It's an old strategy that become popular again, wanted to teach people the "proper" way to play Hex a gone, thankfully I haven't been a victim to no tiles on the last layer myself but definitely know what you mean by It being a good strategy
Hmm, does your controller have any signs of drift? If not then you're probably rotating your movement stick when you hit the dive button. What you need to do is, dive, then flick your movement stick forwards like you're running straight. Once you learn how to slow dive in a straight line you'll be able to change directions easily. But for now, just flick your joystick straight like you're running forwards. This will take time and practice so keep at it
@@Izzytorium So basically what happens is I slow dive, but at random intervals my character rotates in a random direction without me knowing how it happens. I’ll post a video on it and leave it here to show you later. I’m unaware if its a controller problem, but I wouldn’t say so because it has happened too many times. It’s not intentional, it’s random.
Can someone pls help me with the quest cause I don’t understand it It says: survive at least 60 seconds but no matter how long I play hex-a-thon nothing happens
Just to make sure we're on the same page do you mean that. A: you do a double jump then dive on the tile and then double jump on the next tile? B: Double jump, dive on the tile then jump as that tile you dove on is disappearing (like I showed in the video) I might try and see if it does slow us down even more, right now it does sound like it should in theory anyways.
I dont understand double jumping. The tile takes the same time to disappear as normal jumping so ur spending the exact same time on it.Whats the point then
what i supposed to do in 9 task "survive at least 60 secounds in hex-a-thon". i survived 1 min and 45 sec in final round hex-a-terrestial and won, but i have 1/5 in this task and i dont know how i got 1 point plz help
Hi 👋 just got a win yesterday because everyone was running and I jump dived the 2 people were fighting in the bottom layer I had a bit of hex tiles but still, I won. Thank u 💓
Remember seeing a post or video of someone getting the smallest variant possible for hex a ring had like 4 lines or something lmao. Hex 4041 or Low Grav Hex is fun but only because you can jump really high otherwise its mega RNG.
Got the skin today! Probably thanks to guy Who streamed and played With viewers for squads without him i Will probably have suffered with randoms lol and solo was pretty easy actually (luck Moment)
Nice, haven't done the solo, Squads or duos challenge yet, the hex ones took me 20 games to get them done. Also you can edit youtube comments so just do that instead of adding a whole new comment
Gosh, great question I wanna do double jumping but will say the risk to reward ratio isn't that high so I would say to slow dive its safer and saves you right about the same time. I could be wrong but double jumping saves you a second more.
Being flexible is also necessary to winning. With how random each game can get due to the people and how they act, sometimes you need to trust yourself.

I think it does have something to do with my controller, because I tried it with my keyboard and it is fine.
I havent played it yet, is it a crown farm type event or is it like xtreme solos without jumping

So theoretically could you double jump into a slow dive for even more time gained?
Just to make sure we're on the same page do you mean that.

U may have mentioned it but idk, but using the delayed jump in hexagon is rlly useful for making those extra far jumps
