Can’t believe there are enough of these old cars(ya know the ones that were made of metal) around to still have demo derbies....especially in the rust belt of Ohio. Wish we still had em at our county fair. Helluva good time
They stopped having fullsize derbys up here in northern wisconsin about 6 years ago. Last time they held a derby 2 cars showed up... Sad indeed. Growing up as a kid they used to run 4 classes and 80+ cars would show up
I was the purple and yellow Caprice.....tried so hard to get the #15 out of there before the official told me no more....then I lost reverse and got hooked on aN other car...had a blast for sure.
Yeah, it was a great time. FAIR does a good job. My son did not get to make the trip so thank you very much for this video as you made his day...he told me multiple times that I got "kicked in the butt."
What the hell kind of "bone stock" class is this? Every car in there would be modified around here. Headers? Skids? Weld overs? Good runnen none the less! 👍🔥🔥
I'll take this type of heat all day long over that bullshit parking lot weld class boring me death crap. Awesome heat. Love seeing guys do it for fun more than the paycheque.
Lol that yellow and red 25 forgot to put driver side front lug nuts on or he musta had a real bad ball joint.His wheel fell off the second time he was bumped.
@@benkeilman4924 haha we all done it man. One time i bought a (new 2xme) car to drive on the road. I got a ride to dmv. Then came back all excited. I thought, 'ya know what . Im going to change the oil in it. So i did that. The went in to tell ma an dad thanks for letting me use thae garage. After i was done i got in the car and headed on down the road. About 1/2-3/4 of a mile down the road all of a sudden my hood flies open, the hood hinges blow out , so the hood whipped back smashed right into my windshield which totally shattered it. At this point im trying to see through a hood and a destroyed windshield try to get safely slowed down an off the road. Long story short. When a car has sat for a while. Always double check to make the primary and the emergency latches arent froze up with rust or grease. lol
Wow I did the same thi.g in Arizona I lived there for 20 trysts and i met my wife threw a friend and we hit it off and i asked her out i had at the time a 65 scout 4×4 and came to pick her up and she say why dont we take her car so o said sure and we got in and was heading down grand ave and i went between in flat bed trucks and all a sudden the hood guy opened and and i stuck my head put the window and managed it keep t straight to get off he road one of her friends checked something out for her a and didnt latch the safety latch and the hood was bent over he roof talk out A mess had to bend to back enough to get it latched at 55 that was pretty scary but we had a great date and got married I was with her 18 yrs we laughter about that for yrs so I think that guy was me checking he oil lol I was excited at and pay attention to her a spaced it out lol what a day that was but had a blast lol thanks for your comment is was really cool of u

I won't lie I prefer bone stock over every other heat I enjoy seeing the cars bend before the motors go out like they do in modified heats

Dutch Denim not to mention the skid steer tires and fork lift tires. Bone stock means DOT tires.
definitely bone stock, tires are tires. Mods have full protectors, tilted, and tons of plate. None of these cars had that from what I can see.
