- There's been a lot of talk in the community recently about the possibility of a Hercules nerf and I wanted to share my opinion and suggestions about this and how we can move forward as a community

They will never touch him. Herc just still draws players to spend to get him and spend to sink resources into. He is also just a symptom of bad fight design. We literally have to spam revives to get through content like EOP the challenges are actually impossible to do without spamming revives. Even if they nerfed him we would just go to the next best champ like Corvus or CMM that also have immortality mechanics. The whole argument to nerf is dumb.
Couldn’t agree more, Herc is the closest thing we have to a solution to revive spam, if they screwed with him it would be catastrophic, the argument to nerf, in my opinion, is self destructive
@@johndeaux4761 correct. Herc is the reason we can avoid spamming revives even more than we already do. Kabam clearly has a problem when they release content that takes 60+ revives to get challenges done. Revive spam wouldn’t be a thing if they made content that actually had reasonable counters available but the nodes on fights have become so punishing it makes every champion feel the same. Like Peni in EOP literally one counter is available in the challenges so for one run you can use galan every other time you get to die continuously until you finally chip her down over 15 revives.
@@Brieken90 I think the lack of intelligent design in counters if the biggest problem in this game right now, far bigger than the issue of revive farming, I’ve got a video series coming out about trying to find counters to champs instead of just using herc or other “beat down” champs
@@johndeaux4761 that’s a great video idea. I don’t know if champ design is really the answer. I think that the node combos themselves are the real issue. If there’s literally 1-3 champs in the entire game that can effectively take a certain fight and you purposefully exclude all of them by challenges or by gates of some kind that’s horrible game design. No fight should be that restrictive in a game that has over 200 champions.
He is the 1st summoner's champ.kabam never nerf him.but they will find solutions to counter his abilities. Like absorbing man 90% reduce hercs immortality.

In my opinion the problem is not counters as in champs. It is countering nodes.
I agree that herc can be quite easily countered as a defender.
But he can easily deal with 99% of his own counters on offense. So strictly making herc counters (like Wong who can remove immortality) is not enough. He still eats almost all nodes for breakfast.
I think kabam will start to create nodes that counter immortality or unblockable on the attacker. Like they did similarly with ghost, quake and to some extend Corvus.
Yeah no chance herc gets outdated. The ability to not die is something that is going to keep him relevant.
I'll uninstall the game the day Kabam does nerf Hercules. Open the crystal with so much effort, collect sources and rank up and then it turns into nerf. What a joke.
Herc has nothing to do with revives.
Kabam simple saw how many revives were being farmed and decided to attempt to monetize it.
A revive is $1.20, if 500,000 revives are farm in a day then even 1/5 yields $100,000 profit! In a day!
People don’t farm revives for Herc, they farm for when they can’t use Herc.
A nerf of Herc would exasperate the outrage as revives use would be astronomically higher.
I saved up 24,000 units to get Hercules and Kitty from last Cyber Weekend. I still wouldn’t have gotten him to this day if I hadn’t done that. Mine is now r4 and sig 200 and I love him.

Dude is watched so many Legend Title "Help" videos and thought wich team i should go through and landen at. Odin,Galan & Hercules. Put all pre's on Herc then swap for Heimdall and stay with Galan for Viv after in and out him^^ LOL 😅 then i saw your Video with the OG Thor synergie and i thought wth why i missed that?! PLEASE 🙏🏽 is just Liquid Courage 3/3 recoil 1/3 and will Power 3/3 enough to heal up with Herkules in incursions? I don't want to run full Suicides only for the one legend Title run
@@foolya357 he can heal with that and the double edge he heals from suicides in base kit with willpower 3/3, if you use galan to make him a herald he’ll heal alot more

I did my Legend title using Hercules (alot) too, but if I were to rely on him only, I would not had it. There was a lot of Fistercuff nodes (no buff and debuffs for 20 secondes) in my later rooms. So hercules did a lot, but h can be countered with only 1 node. The revives nerf is totally separated from Hercules, I hope they don't touch hercules cause of players false-fix
I agree, fisticuffs and buffet are his two biggest weaknesses
I honestly don't think hercules is the problem. Hercules is not the reason they have a hit counter in abyss. The problem is that the game has evolved and a lot of players are not doing older content and thus missing out on learning how to counter nodes and not use someone that bypasses them. New people who come into the game have 6* when doing act v when many people, myself included, were using 4 and 5*s. People are not developing the knowledge and skills to handle some of the content without revives. Im not even talking about soloing content, but some just revive through content. I think this is a problem that occurred because kabam tried to shorten the early game to help new players catchup and not have to grind as much as players who have been playing 7+ years

This is a good point if I had to bet they’re probably going to introduce new mechanics to counter the immortality buff, (shortened buff duration nodes and champions) for Herc, and for kitty I would imagine nodes/champions that eat prowess, kinda like how nimrod does

I agree that nerfing Herc is entirely stupid and unnecessary! and for as much as Kabam always moves the goalpost and always only takes care of game issues when it effects there bottom line and not when it severely is a detriment to game play or if its somthing that is pro player just simply speaks volumes! I also don't understand how players act like the retail mark up on game resources is even fair in the 1st place when items don't sufficiently replenish health like with revives a potions ( which mean you have to buy wayyyyy more of them ) not everyone is a Ninja skilled button Maher 😂 also let's be honest deals where they charging you $50 for a 5 star ? or even more ridiculous 29.99 for a 3 star !? if that's not over inflated what is ???!! 😅 then there's why have they waited all this time to do this why now ??? are they somehow hurting for money ? and with these prices and the whales how ?? maybe Kabam should simply focus on making the game actually run smooth and good customer service so they don't piss off and run there players off !! alot of whales an dedicated folk simply are tired of Kabam take and no give approach

I'm an end game player and I'm ready to walk because I pull trash after trash after trash and can't pull Hercules. No point really. I think BG is meh.
personally, I hate using herc.. I've been playing long enough to remember when people were saying Blade and ghost would get nerfed. Don't care for them and.. they never got nerfed.. I am still upset about the SW and DrS nerfs..
Wow you're a first. Never seen someone say they hate using Hercules. Personally I think he's too much of a cheat code for 90% of the content.
@talon532 he's a good champ and definitely is needed for eop. I just don't like his mechanics. Don't really like the way he ramps up. Just other champs I prefer to use- SW, CG, Doom, juggs, wolverine, CGR, and apoc are all more enjoyable to me. Quake and Ghost are very good, but I don't like using them either.
@@bergenculver7877 you like apoc more than herc? No way. Apoc rotation is the worst. His damage is noodle in front of herc. And he doesn't need even 1% skill. While herc still needs intercepting skills and perfect timing. Herc ramp up is the best of all. And yeah he is the most reliable champion in game for me. His immortality always saves me
again, I agree Herc is a good champ. I just don't like using him. Here's why- I'm personally not that great at this game. Been playing for 8 years or so. Took me 2 years to learn how to parry(parry mastery didn't exist when I started) Herc's ramp up requires parry heavy, intercept and getting knocked down. All parts of the game I'm not great with. Damage output generally is not the most important champion trait for me. I've never used suicides and probably never will. I recently took my SW to r5. No rotation, no ramp up. Just hit and hope to get power locks and regens.
@@bergenculver7877 so you are just behind rng champs over the best champion possible. You really just seem like a noob for saying that parry and intercepting is hard . All the others you mentioned are mostly from agv to solid to beyond. While herc is the easiest champion without too much efforts plus immortality cheeses em up. It's all based on your opinion about the likings tho

Infinite “FREE” revives > Hercules
Kabam can prevent the uses of Hercules but not FREE revives.
Free revives mean Kabam is not making as much money as it wants.
Kabam will come out with a pay subscription that allows access to the old act 3.2.6 drop rates 😂
Bottomline is Kabam wants to make you spend more e.g. revives.
Infinite revives are fine by Kabam just not FREE revives

You're being way too kind to these people who want to nerf Herc. The majority of these people don't even have him, and they'll lie and say "nah I do have him but I just don't want to even rank him up because I don't like him" Herc is the best cosmic in the game, of COURSE he's going to be able to do a lot of content. So what it comes down to is jealousy. They want to force a Herc nerf because they can't have him so no one should. I've had people tell me "I have a rank 4 Herc and I want the nerf" yeah right, you used all those resources...iso, rank up mats, sig stones... ranking him up and NOW that they're taking away revive farming you want a NERF on top of it? It's so dumb, and it's obvious they're lying.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I do agree, the only thing that would come out of a nerf is more heartache
Nailed it. The nerf Herc crowd are a bunch of MCOC Karens trying to tell the entire player base how they should clear content. They're so pathetic and annoying. Nobody that has invested into a sig 200 6* Hercules would seriously be pushing this moronic idea. Just a bunch of haters doing what haters do.

If Kabam tries to go down the route of retroactively nerfing OP champs then the game should die. Kabam would destroy all the fun and enjoyment by ruining our favorite champs.

@@AllisonEdits Then don't use him. It's that simple. He saves us a ton of resources which is invaluable to the players. Every revive and unit we don't use is money Kabam doesn't get their greedy hands on.
@@eriksparks9179 I don't use him, but before herc was added I had to actually learn the game, now players don't even have to learn and mindlessly just speed through healthpools regardless of nodes

It genuinely angers me to hear any player advocating for a Herc nerf. My 6* sig 200 Hercules has carried me through literally every part of the game. I rely on him for everything and he has saved me countless units and revives. Having him has pushed me to do harder content I otherwise wouldn't have bothered with. Herc makes the game more enjoyable for me so I take a big exception to these clowns saying he should be tuned down. It's pretty simple; if you don't like Hercules than don't use him and stop worrying about how other players clear content. It's such a Karen mentality and it makes me sick.

@@ricdangers Your ridiculous crusade is a mute point because Kabam has already stated that nerfs will only apply to future champs. Despite of how bad you lames want to ruin a champ for others Kabam doesnt want that amount of blow back. They would have to retroactively go back on their word for one specific champ to please a small percentage of players with an overwhelmingly unpopular decision. They may be total liars and scumbags but they know better than to pull something like that.
