I really love when they play acoustically, it sounds SOOOO good. They really should do a acoustic album, it would be lovely.

I don't understand why they are one of the most underrated band in the world. I'm a huge fan! Brings me back down memory lane(; they can sing, they can play, the can act. This band is perfection. Galaxy defenders stay forever.

Watching this documentary warms my heart. It reminded me when I first knew McFly back in 2005 and they weren't very popular in Brazil, so it was like a little club and I've got to meet really great people because of them and their music. And just yesterday they've celebrated their 12th anniversary. That's so cool! It's amazing to see how much they've grown since Room On The Third Floor. I just shed a tear thinking about how their music has been in my life for almost 10 years, in good times and bad.
i'm glad they made this, it's really intimate and it's like we're sitting right in the hotel room with them.

tom is such a talented young man , my grandson met him at a book signing he was lovely and it made my grandson day . nanny guess what i met tom from mcfly whoooooooooooooooooo lol

i think it's 7 yers now since i listen to mcfly and i hope 2 see them perform soon...but since now they never came to Romania and i hope they'll come or if not i hope 2 see them when i'll go for the first time in London...they are the best and i love them

I love these guys. I was a fan of them since 2003. Yes you could say I wasn't a proper fan because I was only 6 but they really had a huge impact on my life. When my small group of friends were fans of busted, I was always into Mcfly and have been since day one. I didn't get to see them in concert until 11th May 2013 for the memory lane tour because I wasn't really allowed to go to concerts until I was around the age of 15 however that one night changed my life and I have a video on my phone of Danny singing some of all about you into my camera. I'm am honoured to have been one of the lucky people to have tickets for 25th June. I wish I was going to all 3 however I couldn't afford at this moment in time however I hope this won't be the last tour or at least the last tour for a good while because it may have been almost 13 years but it's not always easy and Mcfly's here forever xxxx love you guys
I was born in 2004, so obviously can’t have been a galaxy defender from the start, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love them more than words can say. They make life bearable. P.S Not Alone still gives me goosebumps

On the CD it doesnt credit Niall for writing the song with them and they also wrote 'I Would' on the 1D Take Me Home Album

I don't understand for the life of me why it was only mainly teenage girls that were into McFly lol. These guys are sooo talented. It's a bit like Carl Barat and Pete Doherty from the Libertines, that sort of magical musical connection doesn't happen very often! Maybe in a few years' time Danny and Tom will be looked back on as the geniuses they are!
Wonder why they removed that room, sad really, could imagine that fans maybe kept wanting that specific room or something

Yup he does. One song he wrote. "I Want" he wrote for his sister to record, but then wound up selling it to 1D & they did record it. You can find Carrie with her recording on youtube. Tom even has a youtube recording of the rough recording. The words are changed from girl POV to boy POV. In her version its a girl not wanting anything much but her boyfriends love, The 1D POV is a boy complaining about all the things his girlfriend wants. Weird how that works out, just by changing a few words.
When they did since she left me I thought it was going to rhyme and they would say "I can't believe she's dead." I am so morbid.
I had to sing that in my head but oh my God I totally see what you mean O.O
I had to pause this after Not Alone cuz I was in tears. I couldn't even see the screen anymore. I love that song. It helped me through so much.
I may not have totally 100% been there since the very beginning, like I've always like and listened to their music but only in the past year or so I've been what I would call a proper fan, and I may not have been there since the very start (better late than never) but I do know that I will be there til the very end because Galaxy Defenders stay forever! Everytime I hear that song it always reminds me that I am gonna love this band forever no matter what.

Ify im only 15 and i just started listening to them when i was about 13, but i frickin love their songs. If only i was born earlier, i would've lived through the mcfly phase as a teen-im kinda going through that right now haha, it would be better if it was back then though :'(
What sucks though is that I've never gone to a sibgle concert if theirs (nor am I going to bc they've never toured near my country, if they did i was probs not old enough then😭)

Way to go! They will be back sooner than we think tbh. Being in a band takes a lot of time of your life and you just can't do that when you have a family like Tom, Danny and Harry do! I think we could have a new song at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020 but no album and touring until 2021 or 2022.
Not sure if you're aware but you can have a drummer in an acoustic setup (see their acoustic version of room on the third floor). An acoustic album or EP would be awesome

There are other percussive instruments than a drum kit and multiple ways to play said kit. Just because it's acoustic doesn't mean that there's no drums and no Harry.
Why are people saying bring out acoustic album? I know it would sound nice, but it wouldn't be mcfly without Harry.

After being a fan of this band for years, I've figured out how talented these boys are and that they seriously are the greatest band on the planet. They've come so far in the ten years of being a band. They mean so much to me and I could not thank them enough for making amazing music and being an amazing band.
I apologise for when I stole your lyrics to put in my English essay, I used the parts about nylon curtains and sun and the room with the TV too loud from room on the third floor .... no one will ever know, but i feel bad for using them !!

This is such an amazing documentary! I think five colours in her hair was the first song i ever listened of theres when i was really young, it was on one of the pop party cd's i think and it was amazing! Since then i had loved them so much! I used to dance around my room listening to it wishing one day i could meet McFly and i'm still wishing for this dream to come true. Everytime there were on a tv show i would be sat on the sofa with a really cheesy smile on my face. Love you guys!xxxxxxxx

When I first heard them I fell in love. Life was VERY different back then. I was 19, living with my mum and feeling very lost. Then a year later I fell pregnant with my daughter. I was in a horrible relationship and used all methods to not get pregnant but still did. And this album got me through a lot of anxiety and fear. Not alone got me through a lot.
Amy is now 13 years old. I tell her how much this album and band means to me, she used to listen to them when she was little (but is now more into panic at the disco 😂😂).
You don’t appreciate how much music helps with life, and looking back I am so so grateful ❤️
