Hi, in Tampines, if there are to many trees bearing fruits, the town council will pluck and give out to residents free (eg. set up a pop-up for people to take).
Everywhere in singapore u can see fruits trees. I suppose those fruits are more for those wildlife. Singapore are garden city. So definitely have some wildlife around.they need those fruits to survive. Blessing 🙏✨ please give our kind heart n care to those poor animals around us. Fruits drop on floor should have no worries to pick. 😅

The tree had been preserved during road works in 2005, at a cost of S$200,000. A three-lane road had to be split to accommodate the tree. But the Land Transport Authority (LTA) says the tree has to go, as a safety measure. Despite precautionary measures such as additional road markings and safety signs, many motorists still run the risk of collision as they ignore the 40km/h speed limit. Many have also been unable to keep to their lanes. The LTA adds that it had received reports of 'near accident' situations along this stretch. So the LTA and the National Parks Board have decided it would be prudent to remove the tree.”
Trees in new public housing estates are planted by HDB, while trees in existing public housing estates are planted and maintained by Town Councils (TCs). Trees, including their fruit, which are located on State land belong to the State. NParks manages most of the trees on State land. Members of the public who wish to pluck fruit from trees, or collect fruit that has dropped from trees on State land should approach NParks for permission.
If it is not private housing or property land then it is “State land” means all land in Singapore. Whatever is on the land legally belongs to the state.
The Residents Committee are supposed to organise harvesting sessions of tge mangoes and they can be shared with the residents or volunteers. You may enquure with your RC.
These fruits only to be harvested by N park or Town council and to be given to the old age home, charity org. Poor peoples who can not afforts to purchase.tks you my Taiwan friend.😊😊

其实树上掉下来的 mango ，如果完好无损，我都拿回家吃。已前工作附近有一颗大 Mango tree (有时还看到蛇呢) , 每次都掉 mango, 我都拿去 office 吃。还很香甜!

20年前我和一個朋友到過Mandai撿榴蓮，榴蓮一般在深夜掉落，一把手電筒即可。新加坡還有一個鮮為人知的地方有好多榴蓮樹，就是靠近樟宜海邊的舊樟宜猛鬼醫院的後面，我記得它還榮登世界十大鬼屋之一，二戰時日軍在樟宜海邊和這家醫院殘害了不計其數的人，當時連國父李光耀也差一點.......，但是，那裡的榴蓮卻是我吃過最好吃的榴蓮。

跟台灣風俗很像，百年的老樹都有“樹神”不能亂砍的，而且應該是人讓路，而不能叫百年樹，讓路吧
@@cruisefu 日本好多神社鸟居 “Torri Gate" 门面，都是砍掉台湾宝岛的千年神木移往日本。京都就有好多！
去印度的新德里主要幹道看看，路中間時常都有保存的老樹，如果晚上喝酒後開快車一定找死。這個創舉是要留給今年的G20峰會領導人看的。

愛树木的机長, 2002年,有一棵在樟宜村150年树龄以上的老树被地产商的职员干掉,被罚款😅.
更早之前有棵1888年就 生長在樟宜机场一带的参天樟宜老树在二战时被砍倒,防止日军用做地标（航空与炮兵定位）. 这树在旧地图上有标注地点.
樟宜就是这棵树名。😅

在树上是不能摘的。掉下来的芒果多数都烂了。公园局时常会摘椰子，我看到会向他们要几粒。我这边的山竹树过去结果掉时我都去捡，近来或许昆虫少了都不再看到结果。

阿里山上的應該有千年檜木吧

中央山脈還有很多地方是沒有開發的，我相信還有很多很多神樹是我們沒有看見的

台灣政府都要種一些比較少落葉，少維護的樹種，也不會考慮樹種的多樣性。樹種多及有果樹才會有昆蟲或鳥類及動物的多樣性。
