Along with 'Chérie Bondowe' the band had recorded several other numbers, 'Nakoma Mbanda na Mama ya Mobali Ngai' (I've become my mother-in-law's rival), 'Bimaka,' 'Liberté,' 'salima' and 'Falansua.' Zaïre called 'the songs, taken together, an interminable magnificence of vice.'
