Blending English and your native tongue is beautiful. Tempted to advise that it be blended in the chours too (One line English one line native, if that makes sense) it's still a beautiful song too. In the state the world is in... I cried listening. And now I can't stop listening.
Yaama Yaama Mitch, or should I say Kaya from Noongar land/country here in sth west australia..your song is deadly.. (when listening to this I can't help but think of our bushfires & how we fear them, how the firefighters fought hard together & still do, our families & friends evacuating their homes during the night, how our animals were killed but many also rescued, all the volunteers helping & how we need to make a change to stop the devastation happening again.. but best of all is how we australians always band together to help others in times of need & hardship ....& it brings me to tears)
I don’t think I’ve ever heard this language, and I obviously don’t understand a thing except for the English parts, but this somehow manages to give me goosebumps anyways. It’s such a beautiful language!
I adore this positive energy! I’m sure Mitch will project his good vibes on Australia Decides' stage, pure talent pouring from within, he's just effortless magic!
Not what I expected but I reckon he will be able to deliver it live! Such a good representation of Australia and how we band together even in the tough times!
Well done young man. The song "Love" is also brilliant - Want to see him perform this at this AFL or NRL grand final like he did at the ICC womens world cup on Friday night
Love the song I believe it will do well on stage and believe it will do well at Eurovision I think Europe will love what Australia traditional people language x
Mitch is so amazing, I think Europe would welcome him and this song really well - but I do agree that the chorus needs to be more of a MOMENT. It would be kinda cool if he sung it all in his native language.
Love this entry for Australia's Eurovision selection. It gets my vote because it is different, dynamic, has a Eurovision message (it's not yet another anxty love song - boring). And Mitch has huge performance potential.
Go Mitch.... I’m from the UK and I’m rooting for this. I love when an artist or the production captures the essence of their country. This does it so well. Just a little rework and this would be perfection!
Wow, i absolutely love this. I really hope australia will send this, im sure thats a potential winner. Love the uniqueness and positivity of this song so much, it has such an adorable vibe, please send this australia! Greetings from Austria:)
Mitch Tambo sings in his indigenous Aboriginal language called Gamilaraay(north west NSW area). There are over 100 different Aboriginal languages throughout Australia. Yaama Yaama means "Hello" in Gamilaraay, and Kaya means "Hello" in Noongar(south western Australia area)
@@aussierose wow...how interesting!Thanx so much for the info!!!:)Oh,and i think that this song deserves to go to esc...Itll be something different! :)
This really should've won.. For me, music is all about meaning. And the message of this song really hit home, considering I'm an advocate for world peace. Even though this didn't win the National Finals, THIS song will be my winner. And I'm not even Australian! ✌ 🇺🇸 🇦🇺
This song has so much potential! The last 15 seconds is bliss. The chorus is a massive let down. I hope they rework it cos this could win if it's given a bit more of a climax. The tacky chorus needs work. Mitch is what Australia needs to showcase.
Can you PLEASE come and sing at somerville hotel in melbourne or baxter tavern in melbourne or barettas in langwarrin. One of your songs i dont need to say it coz everyone knows which one it is should be Australias national antham. You mitch Brother are a true Aussie LEGEND Brother 🍻👍🤘🤙💪
I like this but would love it if they let him just do it like his other songs. So much more rhythmic and a lot more didgeridoo and the cool noises and calls in between. Just be you Mitch, the song definitely has potential ❤
GO GO GO MITCH 💚 Easily the BEST entrant so far that I have heard. TOGETHER has a great beat & very catchy - the other entrant's I have heard so far have beenbig fat boring ballads.... Yawn! #MITCHEurovision 💚
I agree completely! Might me just me, but I feel like it would benefit from being a tiny bit faster. It just feels like it drags a little. Will be interesting to see how he performs it at Australian Decides.
Damn... I really wish the strong had that little extra. I was expecting a 2000 or whatever pt 2, and this is not it. Still love it tho - obviously - but unfortunately not my winner.
This could have been such a brilliant entry for Eurovision 2020, but the live performance was admittedly disappointing. I wish he incorporated more traditional elements like in his AGT audition - indigenous dancers rather than break dancers, more didgeridoo and calls. It really could have been amazing. Hopefully he gets another chance to try for Eurovision.
I love the didgeridoo but there’s no climax and the chorus is so disappointing. He’s gonna need to have killer staging or redo the song for the live version if he wants to win
I can find a translation of the indigenous lyrics nowhere. And same as when he was on AGT, if I don't see a translation, I can't vote for it, I am afraid.
I feel as though this song has potential but it's lacking a certain element. The traditional language is a great concept , but the chorus is rather simple and too safe compared to previous entries
This feels like a Eurovision version of himself, but not in a good way. I wanted something more similar to what he usually does. He's such a unique artist, and I think this track does not showcase all his uniqueness.
why would he get Electric Fields to revamp? Zach is Anangu & Mitch is Gamillaraay.... it's two different languages & two completely different styles. It's like asking Netta to revamp Heroes
I really love having it in an indigenous language, I wish indigenous Australians could share more of their culture on the world stage but the song is a little bland imo.
We need more like mitch tambo
Love this. Wow.❤❤❤❤
Beautiful ❤
True Australia, Love it :)
Wunderschön. Bitte mehr davon.

Ein Meisterwerk.
A song partly performed in native language at Eurovision? That's a big "OUI" from me. Good luck!
It so beautiful👍👍👍
Amazing voice, amazing lyrics. Love it all, Mitch Tambo!
Just love this song it reminds me of the song we are the world .. just fits so well. So proud of Mitch this song can the world..

This is a fantastic song. WOWW
Thank you

You are an amazing artist! Thank you for sharing and being a great influence for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. ❤💛🖤
I absolutely love Mitch Tambo’s voice especially when singing in his own amazing language.
the more I listen the better I like this - you are a star
This is a grower the more I listen the more I love it. It keeps building right to the end. Such a powerful message in there ❤️
Amazing song... ❤️ from 🇵🇹

MY EUROVISION 2020 TOP10: N°5.
Guys got an awesome voice why haven't I heard him before....nga mihi kia koe from NZ
I absolutely love this song!
Love this one! I would have chosen it for Eurovision.
WINNER!!! I'm thrilled, I'm learning language as I sing along with him :)
My fav song so far from Australia. It has it all. Love it.
I like your lovely singing ✌️
When Mitch goes into language toward the end of the recap of the chorus.... I am dead... it is exceptional. Just exceptional.
This should be used for the “YES” campaign for the Voice referendum. Sums up the whole campaign for change!!
I want it at Eurovision.
Amazing song!
Wow! Nice song.
Wunderful, i love this message. Thank you Mitch ❤
Beautiful song 12 point from France
Not what I expected but I reckon he will be able to deliver it live! Such a good representation of Australia and how we band together even in the tough times!
This song could easily get a top 10 in esc, because it has a message, it mixes cultures, it is still "popish" enough.
Mitch..LOVED LOVED you on AGT!! And love this song..maybe you could write a new australian anthem?
All best for your future
💕🙂
Love love love ❤️❤️❤️
I love this so unique and unmistakably Australian.
Well done young man. The song "Love" is also brilliant - Want to see him perform this at this AFL or NRL grand final like he did at the ICC womens world cup on Friday night
Awesome track! I love the tone of your voice and the song is very uplifting! Good luck! I would clearly vote for you in Eurovision!
I'm doing rhua for a class item this week at assembly its such a good song
Love the song I believe it will do well on stage and believe it will do well at Eurovision I think Europe will love what Australia traditional people language x
Good luck Mitch, we want to see you showcase your culture to the world!
Today we had to do indigenous sruff bout u and we had this song on so i love this and i put it on cuz i luv it
Finally! Australia became big brain and almost sent a song with at least a few native lyrics!
My favourite australian song :)
Absolutely cracking track! 💓

Good song works for me
Wow, i absolutely love this. I really hope australia will send this, im sure thats a potential winner. Love the uniqueness and positivity of this song so much, it has such an adorable vibe, please send this australia! Greetings from Austria:)
Send it to Eurovision, please!
Good luck Mitch on 9 February when Australia Decides! You've got my vote.
Live hatte er einen schlechten Tag. Wer weiß warum? Es ist der beste Künstler trotzdem.
A beginning to the beginningless and endless. Thank you Mitch and team Sony. Keep your heart and spirit close 🙏🏽🦋❤️♾
Good luck!
Where can I buy the cd? Love your style. 👍🏾
What language is this??Has Australia seperate language???Very interesting! Nice and not usual song! :)

who cares what other poeple think ( i love this song and your others songs) #thumbs up 100% :)
I like all the native language parts and ethnic rythms.

Good Luck!!! (Hi Suzanne the Extingusher!! hope Billy is doing great too!!)
This song has so much potential! The last 15 seconds is bliss. The chorus is a massive let down. I hope they rework it cos this could win if it's given a bit more of a climax. The tacky chorus needs work. Mitch is what Australia needs to showcase.
I like this because I like to sing is and learn it
Day 39 whatever
love this song mitch , * Together * #Louise Courtney FB, :)

Easily the BEST entrant so far that I have heard.

Love the traditional elements and language, but I personally think the chorus lacks an it factor and feels a bit weak.
I agree completely! Might me just me, but I feel like it would benefit from being a tiny bit faster. It just feels like it drags a little. Will be interesting to see how he performs it at Australian Decides.
Chorus is unfortunately abit cringey. Traditional elements are great
It is no Electric Fields.
Agreed, it has promise but sort of goes nowhere.
Brother can sing, but it feels too impersonal.
This has so much potential! We just need a huge climax and maybe make the chorus less cheesy!!!
This song needs a climax, loud backing vocals, and a good chorus ideally in native language.
I love the ethnic language but less English. I also love the digeridoo !
ARS3NE agreed the English bits are so boring. The traditional language and the digeridoo are what makes this song. Those bits sound amazing
Be happy with it. Most singers will sing in complete English. This is the perfect balance. English and a native language.
Damn... I really wish the strong had that little extra. I was expecting a 2000 or whatever pt 2, and this is not it. Still love it tho - obviously - but unfortunately not my winner.
What is the language?
This could have been such a brilliant entry for Eurovision 2020, but the live performance was admittedly disappointing.
I wish he incorporated more traditional elements like in his AGT audition - indigenous dancers rather than break dancers, more didgeridoo and calls. It really could have been amazing. Hopefully he gets another chance to try for Eurovision.
Australian language exist, I knew it!
There are hundreds of indigenous languages in Aus! :) Unfortunately many of them are being lost
I love the didgeridoo but there’s no climax and the chorus is so disappointing. He’s gonna need to have killer staging or redo the song for the live version if he wants to win
Is this the Electric Field Language?
I'm not sure because Mitch is Gamilaraay and Zaachariah was Anangu but idk if they share language
No. This is Gamilaraay. Electric Fields was Pitjantjatjara.
I can find a translation of the indigenous lyrics nowhere. And same as when he was on AGT, if I don't see a translation, I can't vote for it, I am afraid.
I am ayla Hemmings son from your school
I’m sorry, not the winning song. This would be a border line qualifier at Eurovision.
Agree. Chorus is cringeworthy and tacky
I feel as though this song has potential but it's lacking a certain element. The traditional language is a great concept , but the chorus is rather simple and too safe compared to previous entries
i like the australian language thing, but imo, it was done much better last year with "2000 and Whatever". I don't think this is the song
It's little bit boring and flat
lol thats what everyone said about Dami Im when they first listened to her song
This feels like a Eurovision version of himself, but not in a good way. I wanted something more similar to what he usually does. He's such a unique artist, and I think this track does not showcase all his uniqueness.
Please ask Electric Fields to revamp the song with the chorus. The chorus is so generic.
why would he get Electric Fields to revamp? Zach is Anangu & Mitch is Gamillaraay.... it's two different languages & two completely different styles. It's like asking Netta to revamp Heroes
@@clivethewaterbottle I mean the melody. This chorus is really generic. Electric Feilds know how to write a strong chorus.
Decent song but the chorus lacks a little punch...
I really love having it in an indigenous language, I wish indigenous Australians could share more of their culture on the world stage but the song is a little bland imo.
