Personally, although I love the other Contra games, the hard corps was the one I played and enjoyed and for me it has the best songs in play of Contra some, Including the Game over
Ahhhh Shattered Soldier... what a memories, game has a special nick name in Japan as "Harder to beat than Cancer " to bad that the return of the franchise (Roge Corps) was a heavy letdown for the fans. I will always remember the old good Contra days tho.

Missing the DOS version of Contra, and the DOS and Amiga versions of Super Contra (Super C). Maybe even the LCD version (which is now emulated).
