kelly's art is great, i kinda liked the goofy spiral eyes on the chameleon.
something to look out for maybe, I did find it unfortunate that the nice colours kat mocked up at the start of day 2 ended up being tinted so harshly in the final product. There's a really nice cohesion to their art direction which is lost when the final colour tints end up being so oversaturated. Kelly's selection of colours were also more distinct, whereas in the final product, the orange seems perhaps too close to the red.
It's not particularly difficult to reference colours from images by using an eyedropper tool, and cross referencing hsv or hex codes or whatnot and I think it could've gone a long way for the look. As a general graphic design tip, we'd rarely use fully saturated or desaturated colours (unless we *really* know what we're doing).
On the artist's end, it can be a good idea to make assets in B&W and tint their own assets, so they can just tell programmers which colours to use, and so they have a better understanding of how their assets will actually look in-game. If they start from an already coloured mockup, I believe you can use a completely white layer on top with blending mode 'Color' and get a decent tintable grayscale version. um relying on tinting inevitable goofs the colours a bit, but it's good to know the limitations so you can work in and around them yknow?
there are ofc more complicated things you can do to programmatically colour assets with different schemes etc - alas tinting is probably all you're getting within a short game jam time frame haha.
as an another aside, even for programmers, you can use that same white 'Color' layer trick over any screenshot of a game to see a grayscale version - and to have good visual clarity, things should generally be visually clear and distinct from just the grayscale values alone. this can also help distinguish colours for some kinds of colourblindness!
regardless, nice game overall and congrats on the win :)

@@aneskatzaev9152oops yeah I meant kelly! I read another comment that mistook kat as the 2d artist and mustve gotten em jumbled (edited to fix)

Game looks wonderful, perfect sort of thing you'd kill 5 to 10 minutes on on a bus before MTX took over the mobile phone space. They don't make them like this anymore!
