Great Haul! I just ordered from book outlet for the first time. They don’t always have what I want, but they had a few books, more than half price off the amazon price. So I was excited about that!! I’m Canadian too and I buy from thrift books quite often, they have a lot of books that are rare and hard to find. A lot of the used books on Amazon are often coming from Thrift books so by buying them on thrift books you earn points for free books. The only thing with thrift books is shipping to Canada can be quite expensive depending on what you are getting. But I think it’s worth it for some books!
I love Book Outlet and Thriftbooks! It would be so fun to go to a warehouse! Anyway, my daughter loved Green Glass House and read it numerous times. Also, Kristin Hannah is a favorite author of mine, but I didn’t care for The Four Winds. Her favorite of mine (and one of my favorite books ever-5 ⭐, which I rarely give that high of a rating) is The Nightingale.
Oh so interesting! I hope I like this one so I have motivation to read more of her titles! I haven’t read much fiction lately, and would love to find new titles to enjoy! 😊
Great books! I just went to our library’s used book sale and found a great DK kids encyclopedia if you are still looking for one. We haven’t used it yet but I’m excited to have it for the upcoming homeschool year.
Great video! I will be curious what you think of The Four Winds. I just found it relentlessly depressing and then it ended. I haven’t tried any more Kristin Hannah books, but I know a lot of people love her work!
Thank you for the haul! If your children are okay with sharing, I would like to know what books they chose. The thesaurus book cover is so pretty! My high school teacher told us to underline all the words we look up, so we can remember if it’s the second time we’re searching for that word. It always made me happy to find a page I had already highlighted another word.
Oh that’s a great idea to underline! I like that. For sure, I should get the kids to share a review on some of their books over the course of a school year 😊
😭 wish I had money for books. I have tried reading Christian books..they make me feel so completely worthless 😢. Living in Texas doesn't help as a woman I have no rights.
My son loves the boxcar children series!
The poem book looks super cute.
We really enjoyed The Green Glass House!

I use Book Outlet too! They are cheaper than Thrift Books.
Oh ok, good to know!

The Prairie Thief sounds interesting.

👏🏻
I looked at Book outlet, it's hard to find specific books though.
Yes! You can waste a lot of time if you’re looking for specific titles
I think a dictionary is a great resource.
Have you ever watched heartland is a very great Canadian show
I did not like Half-Magic. It sounded like it would be good. But I didn't enjoy it at all.
