During my 50 Hour Service I ran into a problem. You cannot find this anywhere on UA-cam. In this episode I give you insight into this information.

SAFETY FIRST
I had the same problem on my RK25. The replacement tube was $225 so I fired up the oxy-acetylene torch and melted a puddle at the start of the weld crack and pushed it to the other end and back again. Took about 30 seconds in all and it was fixed. Thanks for the video!
I would have welded it but I didn’t have a problem getting the new one.

Yes I did. I called in a replacement part but they couldn't give me a timeframe on delivery so I took the cracked pipe to a local welder who repaired it. I fitted that and it's working beautifully now. Of course the replacement part arrived 2 days later. 😂 Thanks again, it would have taken me a long time to find that fault

Great information. When I checked the suction filter on my 264 for the 50 hr service I loosened the hold down bracket first. Having a mechanical background, I knew from experience not to force those thin walled lines. Your video may save someone the trouble of repairing that line.

I know from YT that these are a good machine. Even the best tractors have flaws. Hopefully, RK and TYM will improve this design to something better. Glad you caught this. It could've led to a costly repair by damaging the transmission hadyou ran it out hydraulic fluid.
