Vancouver police shoot and kill man accused of pointing gun at people

  • Several people told police a man pointed a gun at them early Monday morning on Northeast Andresen Road. Officers found the man walking and he didn't listen to police commands to stop, Vancouver police said. The man pointed a gun at them and four officers fired shots, hitting the man. He was taken to a hospital where he died. A police K-9 was shot in the tail and underwent surgery.

    1 o'clock this morning?? The road was still blocked off at 10 o'clock. Vancouver is nothing compared to Portland Oregon. This area is very familiar to me as I work a mile from where this took place. I see beggers, but other then that its pretty quiet.
